Shipping .. Week 46 & 47

For anyone who's had a build week 46.. Has your car arrived in the UK yet?


And also for anyone who has had build week 47.. The regular vehicle carrier ship that goes from emden to Grimsby and back continuously (Weser highway) is on route to Grimsby after loading up yesterday .. Hope my car is on there ! Due to dock tonight at 11pm in Grimsby :)

You'll be lucky. Mine was build week 45 and is just about to arrive at the dealers. Once at the docks Audi have 14 days to load them onto the ship.
 
Psyman had a week 46 build and his car had just reached Aberdeen so deliverys can vary .. I presume it all depends how many boats and how often they go to the port.. What port did yours go to Paul?

Tyne I believe, but don't quote me on it. My dealer said that ships leave every couple of days.

Danners (another member on here), had the same build week as me and it went to the same dealer (carlisle), but his got onto an earlier ship so he's picking his up 4 days before me. As far as I can see it's luck of the draw.
 
Couldn't stand it any longer so I've e-mailed the salesman and asked if my car was built last week and when it'll be shipped...

God forbid you emailing Audi to ascertain the status of your £30k order! :- P

have to let me know the outcome ! My dealer is checking for me and will let me know once on the ship !
 
Your cars should be along soon; my week 40 reached the dealer just over 5 weeks ago.

Fingers crossed ! What port did your car get shipped to?
 
My build date was for 18th November and the dealer at the time of ordering quoted 18th December, 3 weeks to go. I keep returning to this forum to glean any snippet of information. I think I need help!
 
Yeah rook, you had build week 47 like myself and a few others on here such as jonny and snake eyes :) don't think your the only one keep checking up on the forum !

Lads, as a week 45er who has 8 days to go before pickup I can tell you that the wait gets worse and worse and worse the closer you get! I don't think I'll be functioning properly come 1 day to go!

I'm still waiting for a ship date. I'm hoping i'll find out by the end of the week or next week!! I think my sales guy is on holiday so I'm in the dark!

As you know I picking up on Monday. I know how I'll be on Subday so in going in to work to distract me!

My S3 was a build week 47, just got off the phone from the dealer and he said its waiting at Grimsby and should be at the dealers within a week!! The wait is almost over.... :happy:

Got this screenshot today for my week 47 build. I interpret this as just waiting for a ship. I've tracked a few ships to Grimsby this week but none to Sheerness yet.

Sales guy rang me today!!! Car has arrived in the UK! and is at the TYNE dock.

Pick up 7-10 days!! Nearly over!!

Looks like I'm going to lose our race! In fact I have a fixed collection date of 18th so as long as it's shipped next week I should be OK. My dealer claims he only needs two days to make the car ready so I should still be ok.

Mine is still at port of exit and has been there since the 18th, should be in the country within the week and then up to another week to get to the dealer (Swindon), conservative estimate by dealer should mean collection in 2 weeks.:yes:
 
Assume yours is being delivered to sheerness then sherbs?
 
I don't know where its going, I assumed it would be Grimsby. Not really bothered as long as it gets here in time for Christmas.

im im hoping mine was on the same boat as yours then ;) emailed my dealer today to see if it was but it's his day off so will have a reply tomorrow :)
