Silver or black Audi emblem

Right guys, I have had S3_Jacko banging on at me to get silver rings on my car. I current have matte black ones. I like both silver and black but cannot make up my mind which look better on my car so I have decided to let the good folks of ASN decide my fate. Please comment below which colour. Black or silver? Thanks

Chrome.... All day long....

Needs a focal point with all that black... You need to be nuts to want to put all black on that ;) haha....


no mate, you obviously know my vote lies with the chrome, just to break up all the black a bit... You were prob best letting people know youve got anthracite wheels aswell.... Thats cheating! Haha


and the chrome 1's were only cellotaped over the matt black 1's, thats why the look off centre... It was just to get the basic effect

I prefer chrome rings on black grilles and bodywork otherwise they just blend in / disappear.

There was an A4 near me that used to have black rings on the front and every time it passed me I thought someone had nicked his front rings, it was only when I spotted him parked up one day that I realised they were just black.
 
Chrome IMHO. Breaks up the blackness

Smoked Audi emblem rings, ...they are dark Audi rings that show the chrome side of them from different directions

Best of both worlds.....chrome but black

I've had them on my car for about three months, and I think they look good

I agree that the black ones do look too much, but the smoked one's are a great mix, not too black but dark if you know what I mean

I'm running a black A3 with black grill, and I think they set it of great....the rings are there and noticable but not in your face
 
I'm at work at the moment but I will try and get a pic tomorrow

I have also put on the black and red s-line badge which also looks good

The smoked rings are funny the way they catch the light......like a chrome badge which has had a light over spray on them

Not in your face like chrome ones, but not to dark.......also doesn't make the car look too gangster......just a little classy???

I would really appreciate it if you did they sound ideal. Just hard to visualise haha! best of both worlds like you say
 
Right well looks like chrome has well and truly won. If you could recommend somewhere that sells chrome rings as a set if would be appreciated and I'll fit them when my new springs arrive
