Immense!!

Get some rubber mats for ze winter though!!

Looks great in red and with a private plate
Are you impressed with it?!

Yes very, makes some nice sounds and pretty quick as well. Having previously owned non turbo performance cars it's so easy to drive this one quick.

The parade red does a bit harsh in the pics but does look much better in the flesh and does go with a red car I think but no red door card inserts as the brochure states :(

Had a quick play with mine in dynamic mode this morning, can't beat those bangs on upshifts! So glad I chose S tronic even if it's just for that lol

That was the first thing the dealer did, put it straight into dynamic..

Ha yeah mine did the same yesterday when he took me out and gave it the beans!! My comment was "I see you've ran it in gently for me"! It had 39 miles on the clock, which to be honest is the most I've ever had on a brand new car.

i'm disappointed I was expecting something far more controversial lol!!

I could be more controversial.. would look a whole lot better with a nice 63 plate IMHO. I am assuming the plate means something to you.

Which dealer did you use? Bristol.

Audi could of done better with the pipes imho.

TBH something more shaped with the valance, originality, but audi just settle for standard round or oval.

Clearly you don't get the plate so I wouldn't worry about it.... PP's are for chavs in any case :bye:

Yes used Bristol. Have used them for the last 3 Audi's after deflecting from Swindon.

Sorry to say but these pictures doesn't do the S3 justice. Need less of the fish eye look, the proportion / scale doesn't look correct.

What wide angle lens where these set on?

I have 2 Nikon's a D7000 and D300s, time was of the essence so I grabbed the first camera I could and left the lens that was last on it. It's a Tokina 11-14, didn't have anything else with me at the time...

Cool I have 2 x 5D MKIIs.

JohnnyB,

Does a pic exist of new S3 with ABT rims at all?

Also is the manufacturer spec indicating you can run 95RON?

Ta,

H

Looks nice - I think - please take some normal photos with a normal lense and repost!

Leave that to Vauxhall VXRs and Asian manufacturers!

Which brochure are you reading? Pages 46 and 47 show the picture with Black door inserts but refers to 'door trim inserts in parade red velvet'.. £895 for something you can't see seems a bit OTT buy hey that's just my view! Audi brochures always reserve the right to alter the spec but what you see on Page 47 is not as described on Page 46. The description of the standard wheels (COZ) on Page 28 doesn't match the picture (correct one on page 56?)

Must go and sew another badge on my Audi OCD Anorak!

The dealer did tend to agree after reading it that the door inserts would be red! They aren't but actually I don't mind, I think it would be a bit too much, it's an acquired taste but I quite like it.

We had full red in a TT which looked good. I admit the red looks good but then you sit on it.. £895 seems a lot to pay when you can't see it or derive any benefit from when you're driving .. Bit like the 'Macbeth ' feature we are no longer talking about IMHO .

The pp is hilarious, i love it lol
