Where did the cover kit come from? thats very smart..

Looks really good mate! I know the part numbers are elsewhere on the forum but if you have them to hand it would be really useful to have them in here too?

I bought these from TPS 2 weeks ago but ended up with the wrong covers for the screenwash and PAS resevoir side and the one covering the air con pipes too as I have the 3.0 TDI lump.

I'm pretty sure the one on the right hand side covering your screenwash and PAS resevoir is the one I need as it goes straight down. If you have the part numbers for the cover and all the fixings it would be of great help.

bought it from audi lads

got part numbers at home somewere

they look very very well i must say, thats added to the list lol, what does the sticker say on the window??

Not that ive noticed mate, but I will check for ya.

Gets hot tho on the chrome noticed that lol

If you can dig out those part numbers.. you'd be a total ledge.

Ive been after these parts for 2 years now. Audi Reading, as always, completley underwhelmed me with their "Computer says no" attitude.

I even showed them the engine bay picture in my S4 handbook, and said "I'd like those please", pointing at them.. to which the reply was "your car doesnt come with them" grrr I frickin know that, that's why I want them!!!

Then he said "they don't fit your engine".. "well clearly they do, as they are in the picture of an S4 engine bay with them on?!?"

Again, "your car doesnt come with them" argh!!

Anyhoo, rant over.. if you can find them, it would be much appreciated

I haven't got round to adding an Engine bay kit to my car but I did request a quote on this forum:
>>> Click Here <<<

I got the part numbers from another forum that was running a group buy that I just missed out on.
They should be the correct part numbers but its would be worth double checking.

Hope that helps :)

I've noticed there are two different covers for the PAS fluid reservoir and the screenwash bottle (i.e. on with the curved section and one which comes straight down).

Does anybody have the part number for the one which comes straight down?

Thanks to Matthew999 & Mehtaman... Awaiting quote from Stoke Audi!

Cheers,

hhmm - i see what you mean.. i think the curved one is for the B7 RS4 as that is where the dipstick sticks out (I think its a bit further over to the right than the B7 S4 V8)

I'll check which one (curved or straight) i get quoted for from Stoke Audi, and will let you know

Just to resurrect an old thread... and wish I had seen this first (or listened to my mate in Audi parts) - got both the left and right covers and neither fit the 3.0 TDI. Both would need some chopping up to fit round the additional pipe work.

2 more bits to go in the odds and sods box :)

Parts which were ordered :

8E0 103 927 F
8H0 103 928

Cheers

Not sure of part numbers, mad seeing an old pic tho lol, these are currently all off the car for rework :D

i always thought you needed to mod the r8 cap to sit flush but also to be the right way around instead of upside down?

I've just picked up the engine covers and R8 oil cap, the cap definitely sits the wrong way round, apparently I need to separate the top and bottom of the cap and turn it a 1/2 turn!!

Are the dip stick and washer cover sprayed black, if not what are they? Love 'em!

my r8 oil cap is modded to sit correct, also since put a Porsche coolant cap on it

the dip stick and other caps are just sprayed black, also painted the top of the coolant bottle black too
