Keyfob Buttons Came Off!

Hi folks, phoned home today and the Mrs informed me the buttons had fallen off my key fob.

Because I won't be home for a whiley yet can u tell me if this is fixable?
The key and fob is 6 months old ish from Audi.

Yes they pop out easy and u can replace them

Hopefully they would still be under warranty if under a year old.

Under 6 months would be no quibble, after 6 they might argue wear and tear and you would need to prove otherwise. Those keys are not the cheapest. Try ebay for a key pad, saves messing about with audi too

Unless your mrs has washed them with her jeans or otherwise soaked them, I can't see a wear & tear excuse standing up even after 6 months & I'd like to think an Audi main dealer is too big to try and worm out of a free replacement.

Agree totally, at £129 iirc just for the key I imagine it would have lasted for ages.
Not as if the keypad is lost.
Fingers x they have Xmas spirit in giving when I get home in December

clicked back in tho
has she tried to refit ?

A key pad for a few quid on eBay will do the trick. I have replaced mine before.

Yes she has m8 but it just falls out
