Hello there everyone!

I'm just new to this forum and an Audi owner now as I've always been in to my civics and had my fun in them. I thought I'd upgrade and have a more family car with the extras :)

I have just owned this beast for over 2 weeks now and loving it, apart from it drinking up juice lol... everything has been changed to an S3 spec and a bit more so see what you guys think. I'm just having problem with the 1st gear when its warmed up and driving but its fine in the morning or when the engine is cool, not sure if its the gearbox oil as its had a new clutch, bearing, also gearbox just over a year ago but hoping its just the gearbox oil. The other thing is my parking sensors which i have upgraded to a 2011 with the screen doesn't seem to work and change to the vehicle image like the one below, did work a few days ago but not now, the 'P' button bellow the screen continuously flashes and beeps but doesn't do anything if anyone could help and as i've said I'm new to this and don't have a clue??

Hi, welcome to audi-sport.net. Enjoy the forum. :) x

Looks good, spec sounds impressive also. Enjoy the forum.

I presume its got the older 2.0 Tfsi engine with the K03 turbo which is standard at around 200BHP, if so then the 350+BHP figure cant be anywhere near true on a K03 turbo, also a standard S3 clutch can't handle much more than 300BHP.

To get those figures from an S3 you need as a minimum:
Full turbo back
Uprated HPFP
Cold air intake
Uprated clutch
Stage 2+ remap

Nice car all the same, although i would of just sold it & bought an actual facelift S3 with a few extras, at least you have all of the characteristics of the car to go with the looks!!

I have the dino report showing 357bhp, bought it from previous owner who has done a lot of work to it and thousands spent

Must have a K04 turbo on it then at a minimum.. would be interesting to get it done again for sure. Just my opinion but i wouldn't buy a car that had been fettled with unless i had a full list of every single mod, those sort of gains are starting to push the limits of the 2.0 Tfsi without spending serious cash on having the internals uprated too.

it says it has a audi tts engine and gearbox fitted...........

that is k04 turbo downpipe etc......iirc

Ill take back everything i said, i missed it in that rather long list! haha TT engine is about 280 ish BHP stock too

yes that's what I've been told around 280 mark but heavy on fuel, think it was on 5w50 motor oil as told as had it serviced other day with shell helix ultra extra premium synthetic 5w30 oil and sure its drinking more juice with the oil change but must be me but was told to use motul 5w50 which i've never heard of

Its the same engine as the S3 etc, they are heavy on oil use too apparently. I'm unsure what the Audi recommended oil is for them.

I do have a top up bottle in my boot that came in the car from Audi, ill check it. I think it might be 5W30.

A small tip for the forum though, please use some punctuation and proof read what you type when replying or making threads, people won't reply to you if they can't understand quickly & clearly what you have asked or said.

:)

I'm just used too typing like this to be honest and its the same on texts but if people can't understand that then i don't no then, I'm being as simple as possible, but if you could double check the type of engine oil for yours and let me know thanks

Yes that's what I've been told , around 280 mark, but heavy on fuel. I think it was on 5w50 motor oil or so I was told when I had it serviced other day with shell helix ultra extra premium synthetic 5w30 oil and I'm sure its drinking more juice with the oil change, but must be me!

I was told to use motul 5w50 which i've never heard of.......?

I've slightly edited the original paragraph for you Dave trying to keep most the original content , whilst inserting some needed punctuation! ;-D

cheers, Sean
