How many times did you alter your order once placed?

It's a pity you're not near me as I'd lend you a pair for you to try. They're not cheap but they do work well.

Have a google for EXO

(I also have USB powered fingerless mittens for work, much to the great amusement of everyone in meetings!)

I'm sold. I use a PC for many hours a day and I never thought of trying usb gloves. I was on the EXO site last night after followinga link from the Reynaud site.

Oh dear folks (or is it deer?) another boring night on TV?

When I started looking for a car I had a budget. I have added a couple of things, but nothing too much.

there is some people with very deep pockets on here! I totally want to add Tech pack, B&O, Pano but each of these are a lot of money to me, and no matter how much I read about how good they are I just can't find any more money on my money tree!

I understand ... The joys of being older and financially more secure maybe? Or just daft!

ive changed my order twice and poss a 3rd

pano roof £975
added connect £300
hold assist 90
led light 795
lumbar 195
high beam 100
interior led lights 170

darn I tried the stronic and liked it but do I like it more than the manual hmm. I was impressed so may add as I can see what the fuss is about now. had an approx. 120 mile roundtrip to test one though

after all I said about an auto, lol!!

"Don't think, do"!

if you like it just add it and have a go for a few years. I presume you found some back roads to try to lovely paddle downshifting coming up to bends and full on attack up shifts with "boompf" in between gears then?

no but I made my mind up pretty quick - doesn't feel like an auto at all and its quite nice to have both hands on the sterring wheel at warp speed - the big difference is not 1st gear pull away but the incredible 2nd gear onward and no let up in power delivery

- the only thing I still find odd when engaging park and it moves a small amount - I find that a little unnerving - you may find it crazy but I didn't use the paddles but ill be find I play lots of games on consoles hahaha - ive just got retrain my brain from 26 years of doing something that I do on "auto pilot"

Have driven many miles with Audi S Tronic and Tip tronic and when 'driving' for real nothing beats a Manual in my opinion.

I presume you've had a good test drive of the new S3, my test drive was in the 184 Quattro s tronic but it was so long ago I've forgotten a few things.

With regards to the paddles shape and size can you remember being able to flick them whilst turning (at a light angle of course), making it easy to change gear whilst powering out of a corner?

Mr Pillow..

FYI The paddles are actually attached to the wheel and it is a simple case of 'they stay put' and the wheel moves..

Still prefer manual!

Ah okay, are they reasonably long 'paddles' then or are they like smallish buttons?!

lol 3rd change today and DEFO NO MORE!!

tested the manual and yep I prefer the stronic - yeh yeh I know what a hypocrite I am but who cares

add stronic, acc, through load, service pack, 4th year warranty as keeping for 4 not 3 years now - I just thought s** it

spec now
s3 sportback
misano red
stronic - just wow
pano roof - looks cool
B&O
aluminium roof bars
privacy glass
acc
comfort pack with park aid and assist
hold assist
high beam assist
electric lumbar
led lights - yet to see one
through load - yet to see one
interior led lights - look cool
tech pack with audi assist
electric folding mirrors
3 year service pack
4th year warranty

luckily there aren't many options anyway, hahahahaha - that's about £9K of options less discount, a lot but not as much as some

I originally removed the Sports Suspension option from the S-Line due to 'being sensible'. After thinking about that for a few weeks I put it back on and then a week later went all out and selected the S-Line suspension set up...

What on earth is 'tech pack with audi assist'?!

Have through load on 8P rarely use it so not bothering again ;-) another 50 pints saved or 300 Mars Bars.
