Guys,

i've got myself an amazing set of mercedes monoblocks Genuine with stamps at an absolute bargain!
ive always loved the wheels and think they REALLY suit the car they look awesome.......

HOWEVER,
there 18/215/8.5j with an ET35

im happy with the fitment as my car is all the way down on Jom's i personally dont think theres to much poke and do like the wide stance!
it just the rubbing itis a bit crazy!

so the question is if i raise the car get the camber adjusted on the rear can this fitment be run without any problems?

has anyone got any pics?

your thoughts?

Thanks dec

sorry Mr b i haven't taken any as of yet because they are in a horrendous colour lol!
so once i make sure they will fit and a re-spray back to standard colour i will get some up for you!

I got ET30 - 9 wide - 19s.. :)

Rubs when 2+ persons.. Camber is a little higher than -2

kemik,

do you have any other pictures front and side on?

cheers mate

I don't understand why you would put wheels on that rub?
Just get some that fit properly?
Call me old (32) but WTF?

TBH crunchie its more the wheels them self I want rather than the fitment
I think they suit the car really well nice and chunky spokes I also really like the wide aggressive stance.
but as we all no each to there own!

Completely agree, each to their own.
I'm just an old git!
To me there's no point in having big daft wheels that look good if you cant go flat out up a B road for risk of your wheels rubblng and your arches going rusty after a couple of winters.
My S3 is totally standard, which is not to everyone's taste.
I would have put H&R's on it and BBS CH's by now but the wife won't let me :-(

TBH I'm exactly the same mate - old and sensible with a totally standard car and a disapproving other half;)

I also have a 2007 A3 Sportback and I just bought a set of BBS CK (8.5x19" ET35) with 235/35 tyres and I think the fronts will definitely rub so I was wondering what kind of tyres and/or camber mods I should use front and rear to make them fit and not rub. Thanks in advance!
