Morning guys.

Whats the best panel filter to get for my 140 2.0TDI? Getting it remapped next week and just wanting to change to a panel filter, now i seen piper cross, BMC, K&N or green?

In your opinions whats the best?

Thanks

Just a standard decent oem quality filter is better than he aftermarket ones. They are often caked in oil to help filter the air although this oil can get onto your MAF and ruin it.

so just keep standard filter on, don't go for anything such as a k&n

the aftermarket air filters arnt worth the money tbh. either upgrade to a proper induction kit, or just stick with your normal panel.

reason i don't want to go to an induction kit is because it could loose me BHP

OEM filters were tested by a tdi forum & shown to be better than some aftermarkets, so I would stay with audi.

Intake upgrade would only be worthwhile if you were upgrading the power a fair bit.

I'm getting it mapped to around 190bhp so should be fine just using stock air filter?

Just clean it out, or buy a new oem filter, ive got a bmc and saw no gains so not really worth it tbh

Yyy 007

I may not get any extra from it but for me looks a dam sight better than OEM one
