rear bootlid badge

hi all how do you remove the boot lid badge on a 1999 s3 as i want to paint it black
all help much appreciated

I'm pretty sure it's just stuck on using badge tape,
if I was to try I would probably use an old AA card to start lifting one part ( pick a strongish part of the badge) and try not to bend the badge as it will no dought snap

Possibly use a heat gun or some hot water to soften the glue ?
this is just how I would try it... I saw mine off at the body shop and didn't have any pins holding it on just the badge tape / glue

Use Plasti Dip and do it in situe.

You can use fishing line to 'saw' through the foam tape.
