2013 Audi S3

I like the way they flash up during the needle sweep... might have to try and get that enabled on mine now!

that's the top end - most have been getting 5-6% with a small number getting 8-9%

Yep, a whopping 9% is available at Kings Lynn Audi if people are prepared to get there for collection. Putting my £1000 deposit down tomorrow, dealer placing the order next week as lead times are on the increase, will be looking at April for sure.

"really nice alloys, after market alloys some times look a bit O.T.T. But I think these really add to the look of the car.
and 0-60 in 4.6 sec must be around the acceleration of the new RS3 will have when it comes out.
at least is similar to the previous one"

Actually the 4.6 sec is to 100km or 62mph so it's even a little bit faster...so even better!

The wheels are probably ABT's own brand but I wouldn't go 20" far to big and no doubt judging by the price of their map will be well expensive.

Yeh but in the article it says they offer a 20" option, I won't be going 19 either to big to heavy and ruins ride comfort and they make the car slower....

Couple of quick pics from the other day with the snow foam...

I should have obviously took a before pic, the car wasn't completely filthy but was visibly dusty and mucky around the doors and arches after 4 days of motorway driving...

Not bad for a 15 min job without touching the car...

cool, how does this snow foam work - do you just apply it, leave it for a few mins then wash it off.

if so do you know if regular use will damage it

where do you get it - seen loads of places online but no idea if they are genuine

white is my 2nd fav colour providing you have the pano roof. 1st is misano red and estoril blue has dropped to 3rd now

The one i use is a guy local to me, he has an online store, it's called "Inspired Automotive" but to be honest there are loads out there, two others that spring to mind are Chemical Guys and Autobrite Magnifoam...

You need to buy a snow foam attachment for your pressure washer, a good one is about £45

You just put an inch or so of the foam solution into the bottle that comes with the snow foam attachment, then fill with warm water...

It's best to blast the car with the washer first to prep it and loosen dirt, then att ch the snow foam nozzle and cover the car, wait 5 mins or so and then rinse off...

I recommend spraying the alloys with wheel cleaner first for added effect...

Takes like 15 mins, you won't get it immaculate but it's perfect for this time of year to keep it presentable....and used as a pre wash for a proper wash / detail

Johnnyb , your glacier white S3 looks fantastic . I am so glad that I have ordered the same colour.

Road tax, delivery and VAT isn't discounted, but they can't charge less for VAT and road tax anyway.

Agree, my quote was very clearly laid out, as you say they can't discount VAT etc and I got my 9% so ****** chuffed. Speaking of which, Kings Lynn Audi are now offering 7%, still better than anywhere else it seems but the 9% had to end sometime. Daniel is really switched on and seems to respond very quickly, definitely impressed with the service so far. Just waiting for dates now that the order has been placed, excited doesn't cover it!!

I know, I was just saying theyd have taken off what you said as they implied the discount was off the total amount, which it is not

looks like they've fallen into line with other dealers - no doubt surfing this thread - sssshhhhhh!

Well, it's was GNJ Motorsport who initiated it all I think, Daniel is fully aware that the discount was posted here, he's had a lot of interest and several orders so it was encouraged. I don't think he's on the thread though and his boss has canned the 9% now anyway, 7% is still at least 3% more than I could achieve elsewhere though you may have found other dealers offering 7 I don't know.

I think the issue for them will be getting too far in front with orders. Once they are taking delivers in April it's a new financial year and things could easily change between now and then and they would have to houner prices etc.

I too have to say Daniel has been spot on and everything that has been sent via email has been very clear, and all up front. For example I have never been given a written quote from Blackburn or Preston before, but Kings Lynn was very professionally done.

Agreed, Daniel has been spot on from start to finish.

Replies to my emails straight away. I just can't decide what to do on colour I can't make up my mind whether to switch to glacier white or stick with monsoon grey. So many glacier white A3 S Lines knocking about round here already :(

I've still got a long old wait for my S3 SB - March!. I got 8.5% off of the OTR from my dealer.

I have an S4 at the moment (2010 s-tronic with all the bits) and am still a bit worried that I have made the right choice - but the forum updates etc are making me more comfortable!

One nag I have is that there's no badge on the front wing. I know Q cars are supposed to be stealth machines, but it would have been nice to have something there (the S-Line has one) as it looks a bit bare.

To those already with cars keep the updates coming.

Finally picked up this morning. Was a bit nervous how the wheels would turn out but am extremely happy with the finish, and it's achieved the look I was after...

that looks superb, congratulations.

who did the alloys for you ? is your car phantom or standard black ? looks great !

Looks fantastic!!! Roll on 1st March woop!

i opted for silver wing mirrors but yours look great in black also. Lucky you!!

Cars Phantom Black

The alloys were done by a local company I believe whom the dealer recommended. WheelBoss I think. I can find out the details and post on here. They were collected by them last week and returned to the dealership in about a week. I paid around £360 to get the wheels done.

The 8V, to me at least, has an aura of class much greater than that of the 8P in every colour and from every angle I've seen. I really do love the shape of the 8V.

Audi often get criticised for not being radical in their approach to design but it really does pay off when you set out to try and improve the design with each iteration.

Powder coated gloss black inners, with the flat chrome section left as factory, for this I was charged around £360.

If I wanted the whole alloy black it would of cost around £410 as there would of been extra work in prepping the flat chrome parts

Took around 7 days from the wheels being collected and to then being returned to dealer. Was a nervous wait as hadn't seen this done to these wheels before but I'm really happy with the result

But would a 235/30 R20 actually fit in those narrow wheel arches anyway?

I love them! I think they would look great on my Glacier..

Is there a way do to them without the powder coating? I only ask as it can be sensitive to acid wheel cleaners

I'd suggest checking with whomever your getting to finish the wheels as there may be another solution out there. I think powder coating is generally the method used for the longest lasting finish though

I'm fortunate in that one of my friends is a detailer so looks after my car for me

Sorry to deviate, but for potential buyers out there, select-automotive broker in Leatherhead, Surrey, claim to be offering 9% discount on any new S3, 14 week lead, couldn't see the LED headlight option after registering and configuring though.

Yeh, colour was a big issue for me too. Originally it was Estoril, then glacier but I've finally ordered Misano red. I really wanted glacier because Johnny B's pics look fantastic, but Misano just edged it, it's a tough call and the monsoon is nice but my current Q5 is grey so wanted a change. Good luck deciding!!!
