Well, as you may know Jardo has sold his A3.
Its now mine

Just in case Jardo has not posted a photo, here it is - I know he was shy with the camera :p

After 3 days of using the car I am enjoying driving it.

My other car is comfortable and refined, this is the polar opposite.

So if this is my lady, the A3 is the dirty little sister. :eyebrows:

Sorry Jard, its a girl not a boy!!!!

See Dirty already :photo:

There are a few things I would like to do to make it mine. But its great fun to drive as it is so I wont be changing anything mechanically. Just some cosmetics, I know Jardo, you are a legend with a rattle can, but I might have to just make some "minor" changes to the front bumper :)

Other than that its great......oh and hello to you all :meeting:

It seems those are to be deemed the 'site wheels' then Jamie

Love the car, as you know :) glad you're enjoying it!

Please try not to wear my tyres out too much please! they're my emergency spares. The little git only borrowed them for an MOT and I havn't had them back yet :( MOT was in september!

Lol, thought you were going to sell them to me.

I had best swap them over before the track day then :D He is supposed to be dropping the S3 wheels off to me on sat/sun this week.

How did you get on on site, I have to do about 2mph and look for the high points, or it just grounds out.

haha, just checked my texts, it seems I never pressed send on my reply!

Did jardo not tell you I needed them back?

Seeing as posession is 9/10ths, make me an offer I can't refuse and you can keep them, I do ideally need them back though.

Prawn I have some spare tyres if you ever need. Standard 17"s! Holla if you need :)

you bought a lovely car dude well done and welcome to ASN hope you enjoy your stay

A few more jobs to add to the list

Headlights are rubbish even with 100w rally bulbs
Brakes squealing - really annoying
Fit the S3 wheels - Once they arrive :keule:
Change the head unit for a DAB/Bluetooth unit so I can listen to the radio

2 things:

the brakes squeal because they're track pads, and also not road legal technically

Jardo is currently on a health warning from his doctor about high blood pressure due to his ridiculous life style, I think you calling the wheels S3 wheels could infact be enough to tip him over the edge to a full on heart attack. I'll send him a link to this right now and cross my fingers

Hope you're still enjoying it :racer:

Silver wheels then, is that better, other wheels maybe. Not the black wheels :) :blahblah1:

Can the squealing be stopped on the "track pads" then?

Yes mate still having fun so long as its not dark :scared2:

nope, those pads will not be silenced mate, not ever. I have some standard pads kicking around that will sort it though....

Ok mate, I am not that bothered but the wife was in it the other day and she cant be silenced either, unless you have something kicking about in your garage the will sort that too :whistle2:

I'll just keep the silver wheels and you can keep the black wheels :) I only lent them to him for a day to get it MOT'd! i think the value difference ought to offset the value of rubber that's been used on my tyres.

I'll let you sort that bit out with jardo

Can i have the "S3 " wheels ?
Need some winter wheels now that can become track ones later next year

I was going to make you an offer on them anyway mate. Will text you later. But yes I still want the silver wheels.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. This is awesome.

first you mug him off and steal his car for around half it's actual value, then you rub his face in it by covering it in filth and boasting about it

Go Jamie :racer: hope you're still enjoying it mate.

As for the wheels, I want £4million quid for them :)

Having been told by the doctor twice this week that I am going to have a massive heart attack before the end of the year and that my blood pressure is so high he can't work out why I haven't already had one I'm not sure scratching "clean me" into the back of my baby and sending me pictures is wise haha.

At least you are driving it, it must feel awesome to own the fastest car on ASN. :)

It probably feels something like this -

Just 4 mil. £1m for each wheel, bargain!

High and low, the A3 parked next to my Nissan patrol 4.2 on site. (both dirty)

My 7 day warranty expired today.

You'll have to start driving it sensibly now :p

He made it that dirty in 7 days, impressive!

Jardo, don't die. As much as I want you to, I just read your latest cleaning guide for the new car and it's both impressive and useful!

Thats just the roads round here, I have not even taken it onto site. (cant get it on to site as its too low) The joys of a daily commute

I have been using the merc this week, just for a change, so it has not been out since Sunday. might give it a wash on Saturday, so you don't get too upset when you see it again on Sunday :friends:

Use a sponge mate, and rub the heavy off first with a sweeping brush no water...... Then just hose it a bit, maybe chuck some fairy liquid on it. Then I'm told the best thing after that is a damp old towel just scrub the rest of the muc off, then hose then scrub then hose , until it's clean ! Will look like new after, just make sure you video yourself doing it and show jaardo when you see him.!

:-D
