Tilting side view mirror?

Hey!

On my BMW 1-series, the right side view mirror would tilt downwards when the car is put in reverse. So far, I havent found any setting on my A3 that does the same, and I couldnt find anything in the MMI settings either.

NOTE: In UK cars it would be the left side view mirror that would tilt

I find this feature extremely useful when backing into parking spaces as you can easily see the markings on the ground.

It'll do it if you have the folding mirrors, but the mirror knob needs to point to the passenger side for it to activate. I like this as it means you can choose whether it happens or not

If you don't have the folding mirrors, I think it's something that can still be enabled with VCDS

Ah, ok perfect! I have the folding mirrors but the knob was pointed in the middle.
