I'm hoping to fit s3 honeycomb grills attached to my a3 sline which i've fitted the rs3 grill to also. Any ideas if these are like for like or options i have for matching my fog lights to my honeycomb grill?

Gutted any ideas for alternatives on the honeycomb? can't handle a mix of slats and honeycomb on the front end drives me insane!!

Someone on here modified his S line fog surrounds with mesh in between the slats! The pictures he posted looked good. Try a search.

Yeah... if your handy, then why not just cut them out and fit new mesh yourself?

Can't find that post you mentioned artimus but Yeah think i'll give it a go on my own, found some similar honeycomb mesh to my rs3 grill on ebay worth a shot.

I'm starting a progress thread in the new year. Rs3 grill is done - just a fresh paint in the new year. Honeycomb grills and led fogs will be first priority, then rear rs3 bumper, adjustable coilovers and a custom remap with custom made twin pipe exhaust. Any mods on yours yet to share?

cheers for that A3Kent, he did an awesome job of them. I'm hoping to do something a bit more beefy and cover the entire section in rs3 mesh and swap fog lights for DRL strips. certainly going to give it a go anyway. fingers crossed

Sounds good. Post a pic of ya grille! I've given up searching for aftermarket mesh fog grille for the a3 8p my10 sline bumper(cos they don't exist lol) so will DIY soon.

I've got following mods on my a3 sline and slowly becoming satisfied:
-matte blk 18" RS style wheels
-Matte black honeycomb grille non oem
-black sline badges and Matte blk rings
-kw v1 coilovers
-white led lights for interior and number plate
-stronic gear knob mod
-tinted brake lights
-4 x heko window wind deflectors
-revo stage 1 remap
-revo cold air intake

To do list:
-full exhaust with revo stage 2
-sline/s3 sport pedals and footrest(on the way)
-sat nav
-s3 side skirts
-carbon fibre hood wrap

First ride I've done mods to and so addictive.

Looks really good so far Hoesty got some nice mods in there just needs some honeycomb fog grills to finish it off I spent weeks/months searching for aftermarket ones also... they certainly don't exist but theres a niche market out there for someone to make some dough!!!





This is also my first modding project and got to admit i can't stop thinking if what to do next!! These are the only pics i have, standard OEM RS3 grill in 1st pic. I painted the mesh matt black, surround gloss black and finished it off with some white rings

Nice I like how the tag plate holder is seperate so the mesh surrounds the whole tag plate. White rings poppin nicely.
Most def some good coin to make for aftermarket ones

These carbon fibre a4 sline ones are dope! Damn shame that OSIR don't have any for our cars

Cars looking good pal.. If anything too stealthy tho for my taste.. Chrome rings and LED rear clusters (Non tinted) would look sooo much better in my opinion... Rs3 grill and mesh fog surrounds would really set it off

Where are you based?

Sounds like you will be going all out for the car shows
When I saw the a4 ones I was so excited then noticed minor differences, shattered!
Im based in Victoria, Australia! How many you plan to make? Are you making from scratch or modding the oem part for peeps?

Thx Jacko. Went the replica grille cos was not too pricey and was already in my city. The red S badge will most likely be replaced with black and chrome or red and black. One that's on there now I asked the dude who tinted the brake lights to throw it in free with the job. The rear tail led light strip still shows through the tint so haven't lost the effect completely. Maybe go back one day to stock RS gunmetal wheels and chrome rings (when I'm bored of the stealth look) OR could upgrade to S3

Hoesty I'm going to attempt modding the oem parts 1st but im fussy so if it's not what i hoped for will be going for a from scratch complete rs3 replica fog grilles
