well had a trip to my local scrappy today upullit for a few odds and ends recently there has been nowt in audi wise, but to my supprise there was 5 new ones in, so venture in lift the bonnets to find 1 pre and 1 facelift turbo whoop whoop

then I look inside to find this

and a steal £10 ohhhh yes xmas has come early hahahahaha

That is ridiculously cheap and a cracking find.

It looks like you're missing the radio cage part of it but I'm not sure on the A3.

I got a RNS-d at home for sale if you are interested.

and scot as im new to the audi scen what do you mean cage is missing is the metal part inside not the cage I need and what that you have for sale?

I'm not that sure on the 8L double din set up but I think there should be a centre bit in side the big hole that the radio clips in to.
You can see the 4 bolt holes (2 either side) that it bolts in to and then the radio will slide in to that.

The A4 B5 unit looks like this.

Not sure if its the same for you guys.

A RNS-D is a satnav unit. It looks like this.

Sat nav, Radio, CD changer control and some other bits if you got the right units.
I got one from a A8. It will fit with some modifications to the face plate.

hmm like that unit but looking for something that does dvd aswell and with the option of attaching head unit to it for the rear for the kids so that I can put screens in the rear headrests

You need that bit. lol

Take a look at the other switches in there.
If they are all complete and not rubbed off, it would be worth taking them.
They tend to rub off and go white.

RNS-e if you want to go standard of a nice Pioneer/Alpine style unit will do.

yeah I did think that but I took the mrs with me and was getting pocked to go haha, so a trip myself I think as I need the centre air vents aswell when I figure out how to remove, will also be grabbing the light switch aswell the car inside is totally imaculate

and scott yeah the driverside and the passenger side do its the centre one im struggling with it just doesn't wana budge
