Are the above wheels the standard S3 wheels? most of the demo cars on the Audi website have the other wheels on?

Yes.. they look great.. Not quite sure why so many demos are coming out with the basic S Line versions... The brochure details are actually incorrect to (picture and description)

I prefer the standard ones, mrs hates them and prefers the s line ones.
Must be women that are speccing the demonstrators :p

Ok pictures as requested....

Only had my iphone at hand so quality is probably poor...

Gonna have it detailed and protected next week. My cousin is a professional detailer so if anyone in the Yorkshire area is interested just inbox me and i will pass you on his "details"

Cheers!

Just realised my thumb must have been covering the corner of the camera DOH!!

Anyway Lecht - seats are the most comfortable seats i have ever sat in in a car....the LED lights IMO are definitely worth the money, check out my mini review on the page before this!

RobbieWebs - Cheers buddy! The black roof rails and pano were a gamble that i think has definitely paid off!

Sorry edit - thought u had the black pack also.
Just noticed u didn't, deffo changed my mind about not speccing the black pack:)
Roof rails look great with the pano.
Jealous much :)

The sport seats are a must, the level of comfort compared to the 8P bucket seats is quite unbelievable!

I didn't actually spec the black styling pack, i liked the chrome grill so kept it standard and blacked the roof area up along with privacy glass!

I couldn't see the silver around the windows until I zoomed in.
Wasn't until I seen the front grill I realised :)
Can't get over how nice the glacier white is :)

Did u leave the alluminum trim inside the car?
Wasn't sure if the 3d black would make the interior too plain.

Looks stunning Johnny!

All the options you've chosen complement each other superbly!

Thanks Paul!

Robbie - yeah i initially specc'd the black styling pack, then realised the chrome around the windows hardly stands out against the white, then started to like the standard grille so cancelled the black pack and added LED lights instead.

Kept the aluminium trim inside the car, got a feeling the black would show up marks alot easier.

Yes, look really nice... Performance of the LEDs please ? Do they swivel like the adaptive xenons do ?

Yes, and i only realised this when driving up my drive the other day at night, it's a bendy S shaped drive with low walls at either side, as i was turning i could see the lights swivel with the bend, really impressive!

There is some chav with a cat eyeing up ur motor in the first pic lol :)

Thats my cousin haha!

He gave it a quick wash so was in his scruffs, and had the mother of all hangovers!

He's the detailer, based in Yorkshire if anyone wants their car sealed and protected for the winter!

A lovely car, nice spec. Really want your extended opinion on the led headlights as I have never used them...

Well compared to Xenons they are ALOT brighter, they have a beautiful and unique white / blue tinge on the tarmac, they swivel around bends, and are very clear.

The indicators look really cool too...

The range of the dipped beam is about the same as the xenons, but full on headlights go much further up the road.

I think they are definitely worth speccing, but i'm sure the standard xenons will do a good job too if one was wanting to add something else instead.

Re: the colour - i had Ibis white on my 8P S3 which wasn't metallic, the Glacier is definitely different because it is metallic and has a twinge of grey, and is alot shinier..

Looks great in all lighting conditions, Audi have struck a winner with this shade!

Great to know. The LED lights were one thing I had second thoughts about, are they worth the money etc... But I do love the design of them even when they're off. They look special and add something extra to the front of the car.

You will love them!

I spec'd the folding mirrors unknowngly, got up for work the next morning and thought "who the hell has folded my mirrors in for me during the night?"

Then started the car and saw them open up...

Glad i spec'd them now!

With reference to the LED headlights - do you get auto high beam / variable beam etc like you can spec on the xenons?

At the moment my spec includes the standard xenon but with the adaptive + variable + high beam assist (included with the lane assist I've specced) but I'm just wondering if I should change it to be LED headlights now, but don't want to loose all the other gadgets

dont think so but I could be wrong. Johnny should know !

I also am not keen on Sline ones, and was a little worried they where the standard ones as so many at dealers had them fitted!

Hmmm

The LED headlights are tempting but the xenons aren't exactly poor and with all the added trickery must be pretty decent.

Really need to know more about the LED headlight option and see some driving videos etc or even better, some side by side shots etc.

Is the difference like going from halogen to xenon all over again - ie xenon to LED, is it that much better?

there red is an increase in performance and they are the light of choice for Le 24 heure's de Le Mans...

I'm actually not too sure, i kinda thought they would all be included with the LED's, if you could tell me a way to find out for you i will.

I couldn't find any type of switch that adjusts the beam height etc...

Nipped out for a bottle of wine earlier as the sun was setting, the LED's look really good at that time of night too, very bling looking in a good way...

I keep trying to think of reasons to go out in it, another bottle of wine maybe? Hmm...
