Hey guys, nice quick easy question. With the engine off should the flap be open on an S3? I done the flap mod ages ago but reverting to standard for a service tomorrow. Can't remember if it needs to be open or closed though I think open.
Map is being uninstalled as I write ......boo!

Nobody? Anyone mind having a quick peak up the left hand pipe to see if it's open?

It's raining down here at the moment, I'll have a peek in the morning!

Should be closed.... Its an eu regulation supposidly to quieten down cars at low revs... The exhaust flap opens at 3500rpm...

Cheers guys. It is open. Drive to Audi was a bit sedate with the original map on. Might leave it on for a few days so when I put the stage 1 back on I'll be wowed again!

Stick a Milltek on then put the map back on, I did this and it makes a big difference.

Might know someone local who has a Milltek for a 3 dr. And lots of other goodies as it happens.
