This warning just came up in my DIS, never seen it before and checked all bulbs and all seem fine yet the warning is still there. What is the parking light anyway? Really annoys me as I have the dension fitted and whilst there's an error on the DIS I can't even select tracks/albums as obviously can't see them in the DIS because of this damn warning light. Thanks

Just test/check all front/rear bulbs.

Hi,
I have the same issue on my A4 Cab, I only get my DIS bulb failure when I first turn on, though this is because I have the auto lights on, and at the moment I'm only using the car when its dark, so its seems like its all the time. But if I start up with auto lights off then it doesn't appear and once the ignition is on I can turn the lights back to auto and I don't get the bulb failure, or I can leave the lights on Auto, and switch the ignition off and back on and the fault has gone, and as you I definitely have no bulbs gone at all.
Do you have LED side lights by any chance? as I have been wondering if it is something to do with them.

Hi, yes I do have LED side lights. I bought them from Trups, they've been installed for months though with no problems

I bought mine from Trups also, and have also been fitted for months, I'm not saying that these are the problem, but my understanding is the parking lights use the front and rear side lights, and as these are clearly ok with my car (and yours as you stated) and my side lights are standard apart from the LED front sides. So when I decide to try to fix this fault I will replace them temporarily with the normal incandescent type to see if it eliminates the problem.
After all one of the biggest issues with fitting LED lamps in a car with CAN BUS/Bulb failure monitoring is the resistance of the LED's have to fool the system into thinking that a standard resistance lamp is fitted.

Cheers for that, I'll shoot Trups a PM and see if he has any ideas on this matter
