Hi,

I'm looking at buying an ITG induction for my S3. I'm not too keen on spending £350. Is there anything else that is going to give me similar gains for less money? If its really worth the money then I will buy one but I don't want to buy one if theres other options for half the price.

get the AS AMD intake, it looks the best and is not the price of the revo one.

OR get the knock off ITG kit from guy called matt i think from ebay, for about £170. I have it, its not 100% quality but end of day does what i ask it.

seems to be pretty much ITG or REVO if you want it done right.

Most say the AS AMD is practically on par with revo and generally better than the ITG i think numbers wise.

EDIT: i still went for the cheap option! lol

The MTC can be even cheaper with a standard filter, i used an S2000 filter, which is what all the guys in the 8L section use for their S'3 and they are about £13.
so mine cost me £183 all in.
Why spend £60 extra on a filter xD

Well it's that much to the average joe, didn't say I paid anything near that! :)

yeah i know you didnt, you always tell everyone ;)

But i love the noise it has! cant wait for my remap when its even louder! Also mine changed my exhaust note which im struggling to understand how and why? (its just stock system)

Remap should make it much louder, mines running really well, no problems with any of it coming lose etc. Still white too, haven't even cleaned it in ages!

As for the exhaust note, not sure it would change things, technically more air going in.....so more to go out I guess?

well it sounds more like a slight aftermarket setup, and grumbles in low rev's more than it did before! weird!

And i also got the white one, because, clear winning colour!

Another one for the MTC!
Message him and get him to do you a deal. Cheapest place to get the ITG filter is camskill think it was about £55

Thanks for the replies. The Revo looks awesome but I cant justify the price. I'm going to go with the MTC.

Do you happen to know which ITG one to buy from Camskill? There seems to be loads.

Also does anyone know what you would be likely to pay for adding a non standard filter to your insurance? I'm 34 and with Priviledge.

You need a JC60/86. It's a tight squeeze to get the filter behind the headlight but it sort of crushes where it needs, looking from the top it looks straight.
Or if you can get a G60 filter that's the same diameter but shorter in length. But I found the other one more readily available.

Hi Tom,

I have to agree with you its between the ITG and the Revo Intakes. Both are both very good but the Revo one does give better results.

I have the Revo Race Intakes in stock, if your interested please PM me.
