BMW i3

Yes I've seen it. It's a different type of car, so why is it a joke?

P.S. The Audi A2 was a work of genius.

Different is one word for it....

Some of it was yes, not all of it though. The fact they are written off mostly because of the Ali Chassis, one of its major bonuses turned to be one of its biggest problems when it came to being able to repair it after a crash.

Ps, didn't look great either. Get a couple of breeze blocks with chamfered edges and your nearly there.

But it was that shape for a reason; it allowed a car with the road space of a Ford Fiesta to provide the passenger space of an Audi A6. A classic case of form following function. The A2 was a bold attempt to do something exciting and innovative; something most car manufacturers are too scared to do. Possibly because they fear people will dismiss the result as a joke?

Yes, it had flaws, and yes it was expensive, but if only Audi had been brave enough to develop a second generation A2, addressing the bits they got wrong, instead of playing safe with the competent but utterly ordinary and conventional A1.
