Thank you mate :)

i want to be, BUT after the cost of wednesday i really really cant justify the cost atm, had to up the brakes as now the 288s just couldnt cope 2 near misses pushed me over the edge

So now with 313bhp on tap these's have found there limit

They have done an epic job but a couple of near misses meant i had to do something, so this is Rons new brakes

and they look spot on behind the S3 wheels

Thank god for that!
As you've done that now that means you have plenty of spare time to lend a hand fitting my new blower as I'm bored of working on cars now lol

and today i ordered a 19mm R32 rear ARB from TPS £80 bargain imho, esp when s/h ones are £50 odd plus scene tax

also thinking about stripping it out and fitting a cage, then sign writing it and just doing track days

nope stay the same to look at, next plan is poly bush the rear end, then remove the AC rad, move the cooler back and fit a stock valance so it looks 110% standard apart from wheels and brakes

A proper sleeper

Today i had both front tyres replaced and the tracking done, since doing the front arm bushes the steering wheel has been left hand down and i havent felt it handles as it should, id started to put it down to the tyres and getting use to the poly bushes, ANYWAY the tracking was out, massively, toe'ing out 20degrees more than it should (omg) anyway i can confirm i no longer thing i have haldex issues, it drives the eyes out the back of your head :p

on the way back from work i had a play with my mate in his golf, flew past him and he called when he got home and said it sounded like a Jet fighter as i went past lol, job done :)

i meant to add (and i know i sound like a ****) when i took it to the garage to have the tyres fitted because i knew they would road test it to make sure the steering wheel was lined up i put it on actuator pressure with the switchable map, does that make me a ****? lol

Glad you're finally getting some decent use from it philler :)

Love the vid with the littleuns in the tunnel :) ''that was epic!'' :racer:

i may just may fit the Rarb tomorrow, the MOT is out on the Golf (dont know how i let that happen) so Ron is my weapon of choice over the weekend

Ive also ordered some rear trailing arm front bushes as mine will fail the MOT next month on them, blue powerflex ones, only £6 more than OE from TPS

not selling then????

Ofcourse not, is this because of my comment in Jardo's thread? i have never held mixed my words, i want (and so does Rach) an 8P but we have the mk5, and tbh i dont see the point in spending 8/9k on a car that the kids treat like a dustbin, Ron is awesome, but if i wanna smile i take the mk5 for a run (love that car so much) :)

All done and dusted phil, i am the master welder ***...:rockwoot:..still need you to pop in and say boo..

Ideal, thank you for doing that for him dude :)

i am planning a trip up to see the family, Rach and the kids can go shopping in sheffield and i will come over to see you :)

Any time mate.. Leeds as mine host under my name

yeah i was thinking meadowhall would be epic for Rach and the kids, thats not to far from Dewsbury, while they spend my hard earned i will bring hob nobs over to you, i will give you a bell when we have planned a weekend up there :)

well for the second time in 4 days a prop bolt has come loose, now im not sure why, if it happens again i will lag it with threadlock and see what happens :)

today i fitted the 19mm R32 Rarb and powerflex bushes (not driven it yet)

and ive noticed a slight knocking noise at idle, firmer than a tappet but it hasnt/doesnt effect performance, i think it maybe the DMF as its only happened after i kicked the living **** out of it yesterday, will monitor it and see what happens
