I've taken it to a garage who have said that their tools aren't good enough to take this further as it could be a timing issue. And that it needs a specialist.
The car does seem lumpy/shaky on idle. But general running seems fine.

Are there any other checkls I can do with VAG-COM before I have to concede and take it to Audi?

Cheers

Steve

Having similar issues mate, if you find my thread and see if your faults are similar. Sorry can't link it on my iPad. Currently my issues are being put down to worn DMF and clutch and hopefully clear up once replaced. You getting misfire readings??

Hey man, thanks for the response.
I'm fairly new to VAg-Com so i havn't done anything more than reading the error codes.

Garage rang, picking it up tomorrow. Will see how it goes! Bumped my old thread for you. Ignore some of the code they're unrelated

Thinking of changing the camshaft sensors next. Any luck with yours????

Don't the chains have a habit of stretching on these? I cannot recall the block number but you can see the correction value in there somewhere

I took mine to a local specialist. They advised that there are 4 camshaft sensors on my car.
They swapped a couple of them around to see if the error came back but followed the moved sensor to tell if it was the sensor or timing. It's been a week and the light hasn't come back on. Am going to read for codes again anyway. But it could just have been a dodgy connection that they have fixed by moving it.

Cheers for the update mate. Hoping mines just a dodgy sensor or wiring. It seems a Hugh coincidence the issue started after I had a new electric fan fitted where the chap messed up a load of other electrics (aircon temp sensors and levellers on xenons). Going to Tps for quote on the sensors
