Can damage be done if you over fill with haldex oil?

I'm not sure you can tbh. It's a pre measured tube. More likely to spill and under fill it. lol.

Would probably just spit out the breather if anything.

I think the breather would spit the extra out or atleast enough so as to not damage anything

Probably that^ tbh. I overfilled my old Civic gearbox once. I could smell burning oil, popped the bonnet and noticed the cap on the breather had blew off and the bay was covered in gearbox oil.

Just saying if it was completely full would it do any damage. I not saying I've done it, I know the haldex capasity is just under half a litre, then you have leakage replacing the plug ect. It's something I'm looking into with the haldex modification, I found out the haldex clutch can get hot when you have 50/50 split and you only have less than half a litre of oil to keep it cool.

I don't think it'll do much. Mine doesn't even drain oil!

Have you taken the filter off? as when I drained mine to change the pump I didn't get hardly anything out, but once I'd cracked the filter off, well I was covered in the stuff :)

From what I've read if you overfill it, as others have said it will come out of the breather tubes, their is an oil level check plug on the side of the diff too.
