eBay RS3 grill

Sounds good mate wasn't sure if there were any visible clips or if the plate would be easy for people to steal etc. I can't wait completely changes the look of the front end

Changed rings to the Gloss Black ones, put my Quattro badge on, and also fitted the upgraded Fog Grill Surrounds. Gloss Black with Chrome surround ring, looks awesome now, the fog surrounds really set rest of the grill off, so pleased

That looks awesome! I don't see how anyone would know this was a replica RS3 grille. It truly does look the part! Nice one  xx

No there are no visible clips. Ive managed to find a photo on my phone which shows the grill without the number plate on. The plate holder can be completely removed for shows etc

Can you put OEM chrome rings into these? And can an S3 badge be squeezed on? Definitely keen!

Not sure about the rings, but the S3 badge dos'nt fit. Had to chop the back of the badge up and fit a cable tie to it to get it to fit.

not sure if the company make different badges to fit the grill

Hi Guys

Just to shine some light on questions you have regarding these grills

Please fire away as most of the grills have been purchased from my website or ebay from my ebay shop

Im sure theres over 50 people on this forum that have purchased these grills from me and can vouch for the quality and fitment

all badges can be removed and the number plate surround/holder can also come off and you can never tell that it was ever there.

I also have chrome badges for the grills so if you prefer a chrome badge and not a gloss black thats not a problem

p.s. how do i arrange a group buy and become a paid trade member so i dont get kicked off......lol

Hi Xenonz, thanks for the heads up. Are you able to obtain/make fit an S3 badge for this grille?

I am working on it at the moment

What most of my customers have done is cut a little section off the rs3 badge that is supplied and re arranged the letters from rs3 to s3 or if they have a s3 that they are installing the grill on to than they remove s3 badge from their old grill and fit it to the new grill.

some customer cars on link below:-

CUSTOMERS CARS - XENONZ UK

BUT currently we do not have "s3" badges available but will have some in the near future

hope this helps

anyone else have these grilles? maybe with the chrome or matt aluminium surround ? any of the other colour combos! black is good, but hard to see once on the car (would like to see another colour fitted if poss) :)

Xenons - it was me that enquired thro Ebay about the group buy and I will be doing a group buy for interested parties very shortly as I am a site sponsor so you dont need to worry about anything mate.....I shall handle it all. Just need you to ship them.

Any probs mate then just PM me

Is there any quick release or easy way to remove the number plate with this grill for attending car shows?

I have this grill but have yet to figure out a way to remove the plate holder whilst it is still on. Iv seen people using cable ties instead

Yeah my worry would be though is it falling off.

Have you gone for the silver rings? or black

Maybe there is an easy way to take it off but I certainly don't know how it's done haha I'd quite like to know as it would be good for shows and stuff. I already had black badges so I just kept them

As long as the plate can be removed, i.e. if the plate is attached with velcro or something that can allow the plate to be easily removed from the number plate bracket there are 3 plastic rivet type screws once you remove them the number plate bracket/holder just comes off and you cant even tell if it was ever there.

Chrome audi rings are also available if you need them, on my ebay adverts you can opt for black or chrome rings, just let me know when checking out.

Yeah man... Plastic rivets... Same thats used in the front mud guards in the arches... You could even steal and use them worse comes to worse

taking the plate holder seems easy enough then. can you put it back on without removing the grill etc etc? I dont want to take it off and have to go through all of that to get the number plate back on!

what annoys me so much is the price difference between the 2008 pre face lift and the 2009 facelift model
