Agree on two points, but standard S3 alloys are too dark on Monsoon (and Estoril)...all IMO obviously

Spoke to the dealer and my S3 has definitely been built a lot earlier than scheduled, and have been told it should be here in 10-14 days!
He said that production has been upped hence the improved dates, and that he has several S3 owners to break the news to, so if there is anyone on here with an S3 on order from Leeds Audi - you should be getting a call very soon...

interesting in this weeks Autoexpress, one of there case studies is someone who thought all seat leons came with dipping mirror when reversing, as that's what it said in the brochure!
but as pointed out you will have no come back as it states subject to change.
I think a good solicitor would argue against that. Note that they gloss over the fact that brochures are advertisements. They have a duty to try to make them accurate (although mistakes do happen). If something changes between the brochure being printed and you agreeing to purchase then that should be pointed out to you.
Put simply you have a right to know what you are agreeing to buy.
Unfortunately the obvious remedy is for you to reject the car. Probably not worth it over a footrest.
Having spoken to my dealer today he has told my car has build week 5. Ideal only ordered on 9th Oct. So looking bang on for March delivery. 
Ps after my recent extended test drive in 2 S3 SBs I cannot recall whether they had a stainless foot rest. Once you drive your S3s I am sure its the last thing you will think of !

Same here... I will get my about the same time. It's a really long waiting time. When I ordered my volvo it took under 2 months
Just been told my build week moved to build week 4 from build week 5! Still provisional tho I think

Those are my pictures. The S3 pedals are stainless. S Line not.
I think the production of the S3's is increased by 1-1,5 week. The S3 SB from a friend of my should be build last week but the car is already at the dealer.

As promised a couple of pictures, the foot rest is just plastic but the pedals do have stainless steel on them.
I'll take some more when i get a chance, i'm a bit busy driving it.

Only ordered my S3 last week and my dealer just confirmed that it's going to be build week 48

Does the S3 MMI come with digital radio as standard?
I have spec'd the Sat Nav and B&O sound system, i naturally assumed it would come with DAB, i can't take any more of of the inane, mindnumbing clusterf**k of a station that is Radio 1....
Absolute, XFM or 6 Music - i will be happy...

hi all. First post and a very happy one to say I've reserved my S3 sportback yesterday with delivery due in 2-3 weeks. It's at the docks in Germany at the moment. Panther black, black nappa, COZ wheels, panoramic roof, nav, comfort pack, cruise control, parking plus. Very excited!
I test set drove one on Saturday and I was hooked.

I got an Audi dealer to call around and see what he could find and this was just a stock car being shipped in which I managed to grab. Just got lucky! I was going to reserve a demonstrator until they found this one.

Thinking about getting a remap done straight away and heard good things about revo - anyone got any advice or experience in this area? i appreciate i'm probably covering old ground but i couldnt find anything specific to the new S3?

Silver really shows off the lines well. In fact... There are lines in that picture I'd never noticed before! Good choice.
De-badged S3 - very unusual! 'Shame' the four exhausts will blow your cover. Was de-badging even an option on the 8p S3?
Looks great !
Silver works brilliantly with those alloys, black styling package and privacy glass - only downside is the alu' wing mirrors don't stand out so much but still worth it for the overall look.
I'm also keen to get mine remapped once I take delivery and run it in for a few thousand miles. However, it is a little early for any software to have been developed. I actually called Revo HQ a few days ago who informed me that a remap for the new S3 is not even in the pipeline yet.
My current 8P S3 is Revo stage 1 and I think it is fantastic, GIAC was also very similar in power delivery.
The other options for me are either GIAC or APR. My cousin is good friends with the guy who owns Awesome GTI and he is keen to get my new S3 in develop software for it, but by the time I take delivery and run the car in - there may well be things up and running with several tuning companies.

I saw a post on a German forum that was talking about remapping yesterday. I couldn't quite tell whether the car was at stage 1 or 2 but 370bhp was mentioned.

Completely agree. I was going to order glacier white but seeing the silver, it looks really good with the black pack and alloys, a definite contender!

Yeh, pano roof is on my spec. The more I look at the silver the more my mind is made up. Glacier looks amazing but perhaps the silver is more classy, well, on someone who is 40 now it is!

I never thought I'd like the debadged look but I really like the simplicity of the black styling pack grill without the S3 logo. Might have to do a bit of DIY when I receive my car!
