Yup, they are the ones I was planning on getting too. Unfortunately, I bought replacement dampers last Xmas for £200 not realising that JOMs were cheaper. Gutted. The new dampers are crap too, just Sachs replacements, but they seem far too soft and wheel control is poor.

That's a shame I'm happy with my purchase I just hope they don't let me down, but I suppose that's the gamble you take haha

I'm frustrated with my fmic I bought a cheep Universal one for about £160 and it's a nightmare to fit paid a Mechanic £60 to fit it after I attempted it for Months and failed only for him to give me £30 back and kept £30 for wasting his time with "parts that don't fit" people on this insist they do fit but I can't get my head around it haha

Today I went to a friends garage and got my coil overs fitted, the handling is allot sharper and the Car feels more fun to drive, so i'm happy with my Ebay special coils :)

I then plasti dipped my alloys to see what they would look like if I got them sprayed black, I was pleased with the results but by the time they dried it was to Dark to get a decent pic of them so will upload some newer pics during daylight in the morning.

Some pics of the finished result it's a little too dark and the camera is **** on I.Phones :p

Bought an S3 rear bumper and side skirts to go with my S3 spoiler, after the front bumper then it's spray time and then fitting it :)

Got some Team Heko wind deflectors today only to find they're the wrong size.... :(

Looking good mate. Just fitted my coilovers aswel. So much better to drive! You got any ARB rubbing issues? I've gone pretty damn low on 18s and no rubbing!

Is it an S3 front bumper your getting? Could look a bit odd as I think the S3 bumper flares out for the big S3 arches? Correct me if I'm wrong!

Took the Car upto my Nans in Emmerdale and gave it a quick wax and took some better detailed Photos to show the recent work :)

Nice. I would put the rear Audi rings back on (but do em black) and remove the wiper, which would suit the lights etc.

btw, your nan's house has an awesome view :)

Looking good. I would definitely do a rear wiper delete and maybe space the wheels out a bit as you've gone quite low it would look cool.

How many cans of Plastidip did you use for your wheels? And how much did you pay? I've seen it £17 per tin or if you buy 6 it works out at £11 each or so. It seems quite tricky to get hold of it seems, in the UK at least, it's like $6 in USA.

I paid about £11 per can got a pack of 4, I used 1 Can per wheel the longer you leave it to dry between each coat the better the result just keep letting it dry and then spraying again, at first it will look terrible but after a while it does start to finish nicely.

Yea next thing is removing the rear wiper, just not sure how you go about it tbh haha

An cheers it's in a lovely part of Yorkshire :)

Sorry for the late reply, I have rubbing :( but I've gone and bought an Audi TT 225 Roll bar as recommended from someone on this which will apparently solve my problem :)

That would of been me :p are you fitting it yourself? Rear wiper is simple to remove: http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-sportback-8p-chassis/156882-wiper-delete-help.html

Oh yes I thought it was you but wasn't 100% sure I have the memory of a siv.. lol

I won't be fitting it myself as I'm staying at my mothers until I get my new house this week or next, so I haven't any tools or space it's booked in tomorrow to get fitted so will post the results :)

Just got my new exhaust fitted I ended up keeping the Cat on as I couldn't be bothered with the messing around when MOT time comes.

its not too loud just a nice little rumble and when I'm in a high gear cruising you can't hear it which is great for long journeys :)

i've got a tt roll bar hanging around but havent had chance to fit it, do you know if fits straight on or do you need different droplinks millar?

because atm i have no roll bar at all because i had to take it out because i wanted to go lower so would be nice to get a roll bar back in haha

I think you need the tabs on your coilovers so you can use the long droplinks for the TT arb.

Ahh so i cant use my original drop links? i'd have to order some droplinks in. i have the jom coilovers too

No worries! Dont think the droplinks are expensive though. I'm on jamex which are basically the same. My mate has joms with a TT bar and droplinks.

aw good stuff! ah right. your car looks very good anyway pubemammal

Thanks the Cars coming along slowly but surely, I'm learning new things along the way also, which is making the whole process all that more entertaining. :)

Do I need anything else before I send it the garage tomorrow?

my friend said that he thinks you can use your original droplinks (ones connected to the wishbone) to fit the tt roll bar, not 100% sure he is right though haah

if Pubemammal doesn't reply, I'll just take it the garage tomorrow anyway an see what happens, I'll post results tomorrow, wish me luck lol

The Audi TT arb was fitted today, worked a dream there's no longer any knocking or anything like that and I can now start enjoying the lows :)

Next on this week is to install my white xeon bulbs and remove the rear wiper.

Sorry mate only just seen this! Glad you got it sorted... but you had the TT droplinks already judging by your pics.

How much did they charge you to fit?

Got the arb from Ebay for £30, charged £60 to fit, an I think he told me he used my old drop links

Been quoted £40 for a de-cat so possibly having that done tomorrow.

Also got some better white bulbs to replace my old yellow ones:

Thats cool you can use original droplinks sorry for false information.

Would be good to see pics now you can get some real lows! What are you doing with the rear? Removing adjusters?

I haven't changed the height it's as low as seen in the pics, bad weather is coming you see :p

My 3'' de-cat and down pipe has arrived :)

Lemme know how you get on with fitting it. I still haven't done mine, some 10 months after I bought it. It sits under my desk with the TDi centre section and I'm still waiting for a reducer to arrive, then it's definitely going on LOL.
