Help plz!! Removing concert stereo from my 2000 1.8t and running amp wire from batter

Can anyone help me in a way to remove concert stereo to replace with After market one ? Is there a easy way to remove without proper keys as haven't got them? Also is there a hole for a amp wire to go through from battery under the bonnet ? Any help would be great

Radio will only come out with ease with the right tool dont try with anything else as you will butcher the clips then when you cant get it out and use the correct tool that wont work either, as for amp wire theres a hole on the drivers side in the ecu holder/box which is perfect for your needs or anything else like a boost gauge or similar.

i put both my 2G power cables through the ECU gromets, nice snug fit too

can anybody offer some advice?

ive waited all week for some Audi stereo removal keys to come. Slotted them in today and only one side of the radio will pull out. It looks like the clip is broke, so my question is..

how do I remove this now with out destroying the unit?

Anyone else know how to remove a stuck radio the same thing has happened to me .One side stuck

You need a really thin pick or screwdriver wedge it in and flick the retaining clip and pull the radio with the other side, helps if you remove the fascia trim to pry it free.
