Ive just fitted an RS4 rear anti roll bar, huge difference. It has tightened the car up, but it does still wallow compared to my other cars.

So, as well as the rear RS4 bar, can the front RS4 bar be retro fitted as well?

Also what about strut braces? Ive seen, B5, B7 and B8, but no B6 strut braces.

As far as I know there is no difference between the different models for the front sway bar.

There's aftermarket ones that people use though. I'm sure I've read if someone on here who has done it.

the lower anti roll bar is the same on the a4 and s4 and rs4
however the s4 and rs4 also have a top mounted anti roll bar .... im not sure if the a4 does or not

stiffer roll bar will help the car as regards rolling and wallow but will be poorer for traction as the suspension cannot move as much

I'm surprised the front is the same. So no strut braces that fit?

s4 and rs4 has a top strut brace which fits across where the battery sits

the top strut on the a4 is built into the front where batt sits as above

what springs/shocks are people running on their cars? make/drop/prices/dealer?

Eibach Pro Springs and AP Dampers for me, works well although the 19's make it a fair bit stiffer than most.

Looks lower in person, just the right drop in my eyes 30mm all round (according to them)

Where did you find the rear RS4 ARB?

Cheers
Dealer's cheapest... I think?

running koni adjustable shocks and h+r springs with a 20mm drop + the rs4 rear anti roll bar

Then the only solution is to swap your existing suspension to some quality coil overs or at least upgrade the shocks with some bilstein ones... I have bought a car with koni FSD suspension at some point, in the bin they went and i replaced the shocks and springs with genuine s6 dampers and Eibach springs...much, much better !

I have an RS4 Rear ARB with Weitec (KW) coilovers.
Handles really well around corners, however they can be a little harsh under normal driving - but I can live with that!

I've got an RS4 rear ARB and new Tein rear springs to fit in the next couple of weeks. Anyone have some tips on the best way to go about installing both at the same time; what should go first? Or will it not really make any difference?

I want to avoid putting things back together only to find they need to come off again, if possible. Thanks.

fsd ones are the active ride control
surprised you couldnt find an adequate setting for them , drove a seat leon with them fitted and they seemed pretty good
eventually bought the pro sport ones for both the leon and the s4 .... lifetime warranty on both sets
