bigger nozzles for the 2.5 TDI V6, at last useful info !!!

Higher pop up pressure reduces overfueling on low revs and less smoke. Worth of testing and maybe your shutdown problems will be over too. I had same kind of problem few years ago that engine shut down when accelerating. There was something with the pump, everything was replaced with ake distributing head. After repair it has been working fine and no shutdowns.
Higher pop up reduces overfueling at the whole rev range. After that you have to correct the advance. If you knew what is inside the inector body you will never go that way.On AKE engines there is a pin in the middle and a larger(i don't know how it's called in english so i'll name it plate)The pin is connected to the pop up spring and the plate is connected to the main injector spring. There is 0.1mm diference between them.So the pop up pin is 0.1 mm higher than the main injector plate. When the pressure rises it lilfts the nozzle pin 0.1mm so this is the pop up injection. After that it raises the plate and it injects the whole portion of fuel. The thing is that when you inject the main portion of fuel the two springs are pushed together.Do you get the point.?? So when you raise the pop up you raise the main injection too. That's why the car is weak at low revs.|You don't wan't to do that.Of coarse 20-30 bar is not a problem but no more.

Well higher pop up pressure is only way to control idle iq. My car is not running idle even with cummins stock nozzles with 245bar. I'll try in some time 260-270bar.

A recent problem that i noticed when I put bigger nozzles +90 and + 120% is that the cylinder pressure tries to lift the whole injector. And sometimes it does.Car starts to make noise like train Puf-Paf.I put 1.5mm shim on the injector before the pad that holds the injector in place. That way you
increase the pressure on the injector.I recomend that to all that try to tune the engine. The bigger boost + more fuel creates bigger cylinder pressure and the plate that holds the injector bends.

doctorec sent you a PM mate, need pricing delivered to the uk for a set of nozzles.

thanks

I'll appreciate everybody who has bought nozzles to give a feedback in a couple of words about quality, power and delivery time.

Thanks in advance.
You can find us on facebook https://www.facebook.com/CpcDieselNozzles

Just to let everyone know race 683 nozzles fitted to old AFB injectors do not shudder and have steady idle and rock steady IQ 3.5-4.7Mg/stroke, only modification is needed the plug on the needle lift sensor is square so you will need to buy a square plug from dealer- it's shared on many cars and looks like the oil pressure sensor plug !
If you're handy with electronics you could extract the pins from the old plug and insert it in the new plug. I have done it to my cars and no problems there whatsoever. I now need to remap the car again and inject fuel under 2000rpm's so i can get the larger turbo spooling quicker !

I told you if you have anything to say you need to prove it.Get from your SPECIAL diesel service chart of the flow of every nozzle and post it here.If they have the equipment to do that.I guarantee +-2% in flow from each nozzle.Standart for Bosch nozzle is +-3%.Of course when you don't like our product I offered to return it and get your money back. You will not see that friendly attitude from other tuning firm. But writing bull**** on forums is not the right way to justify their own or diesel service ignorance.

Well usually bs has no truth behind it. There are other set nozzles here too that are not in category perfect but in "good enough", they run fine on the car. It's just confusing when you say your nozzles have better quality than Robert Bosch ones and when put them to the bench they really ain't and I'm the one who is telling bs? :) Please.

Sorry but I just didn't know that negative feedback is not allowed. :(

Negative feedback is allowed when you have something to prove you are right.
So diffas you say nozzles are not good but you will put them on your car. This is ridiculous mate.Don't make me laugh. If you have a bad day, do not take it out of our nozzles.
Cheers
Of course I think we have the fastest 2.5tdi V6 in the world. And it's with CPC nozzles. When bosio or firad have nozzles that are better and have more power from 2.5tdi please give me a call.Untill then https://www.facebook.com/CpcDieselNozzles?ref=tn_tnmn have the biggest and more efficient nozzles for 2.5tdi.

I know you are probably trolling but in case not wtf dude? :D

I rest my case here.

Don't write bull****.Put the nozzles remap the car to 2.4-2.6bar at max fuel and enjoy the ride.I can remap it for you if you are interested.Just tell me what trurbo you are useing.

so what tipe nozzles ishould use fo AKE engine 2002year make? im not looking for big power, becorse im not going replace charger, it satisfies me +15% like gives nozzles DSLA142p1519 but someone sad its rubish, i can get DSLA 142p1519/DSLA150p1519 in god price

This is made especially for you and people that think that we sell low quality nozzles.See the difference in quality of FIRAD +50% 6 hole AKE nozzle and CPC +130% 8 hole nozzle.
I think the video shows the difference in atomisation very well. You can see the other tests in channel too_Of course our nozzles come with 1 year unlimited mileage gurantee.
Atomisation test Pedro's 6 Hole nozzle - YouTube VS Atomisation test Pedro's 8 hole custom nozzle - YouTube

Thank for video, but, what a fuel pressure for each test?

Will these nozzles work in my bdh injectors or will I have to fit some ake injectors?

I'm a bit confused here too. I'm planning to swap to a bigger turbo than standard, and trying to find out what will work in my BFC. (And like Shkin, I'm happy to swap whatever part are required, just need to know which).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

At last I got useful info about bigger nozzels for the 2.5 V6 TDI.
Got hold of a friendly guy at BOSCH who has acces to the datasheets.
I dished up a number of nozzle part numbers and asked for the specs.

The stock nozzle for the 180hp AKE engine is the 142P925 which flows 380cc/30sec and has 6 spray holes
The DSLA 142P1519 has 440cc/30sec, 6 spray holes AND the same spray angle as the 142P925
That is +-16% more flow and the same spray pattern, seems te be ideal to me !

For the very power hungry, the 143P894 has 800cc/30sec and 8 spray holes :))

Best Regards

This post has cost me about 100 EUR.
NONE OF THOSE NOZZLES FIT.

They have different needle shapes. Waste of time and money.
I registered just to post that here to spare others the same issues.

Here is a picture of 142P1519 and 142P925 side by side:

Sorry to find out the hard way mate, i only used Bosio PP683, Bosio Race 683 and Doktorec's +60% nozzles (not supplied by me) in a few cars i have tuned and i will take internet posts always with a pinch of salt !

I’m following this old thread and I just ordered a set of Iveco nozzles DSLA143P970 8x0.16 as I’m following diffas lead as I stumbled on his YouTube idle video. This is for my recent purchase of a July 2002 (1st Reg August 2002) A4/S4 Avant Quattro Tdi v6 2,5L AKE 180hp 6-gang that I bought in Aschauffenberg DE and brought home to Canada.

I run a euro mechanical shop and have tuned many Tdi 4 cylinders but never these V6 Tdi. I’ve figured out the login code but it is already at max fuel IQ and I find the low end diesel torque should be a lot better. Since I cannot up the fueling anymore, I am looking for more flow with these Iveco nozzles. They are similar in size but have 2 more holes, and I should be able to lower the IQ to match and I’m setting the main pop to 260 bar or higher if I hear differently.

Not looking for big power like what I’ve done with the 1.9 & 2.0 Tdi. Just wanted more low rpm diesel torque and all round power increase. Based on what is posted in Tdiclub.com as far as 2.5L V6 Tdi in North America. I think I’m the 2nd or 3rd car and I have asked if there are any currently running around and it seems like I’m the only one surviving.

VAG dealer does not support grey market imports, 2,5L. I do have many contacts that can get me Parts that I need.

I am glad that the supplier did not have these injectors as I too ordered up a set before I found diffas thread of Iveco nozzles. Even if I could get these to work, the flow is marginally more and not worth the effort.

I think blackwagon should delete his post with such big time misinformation.
P970 nozzles are good option for smaller power increase. There is actually cummins nozzles same sized with slightly narrower spray pattern.
Never tested one since those are way too small, but should work even better.

Agreed, I stumbled on blackwagon’s thread first, and promptly ordered up a set of P1519 and luckily the supplier was unable to supply and I kept researching more and more and followed this thread and saw a picture of prj’s thread that the P1519 has a pintle rear protrusion that would never work in the Audi injector body.

Do you still recommend a Main Pop Pressure of 260 to 275 bar, while leaving the pilot pressure alone?

Well actually you are increasing pilot opening pressure with the pressure pin and thats all that counts actually. Increasing pilot pressure increases also main pressure too. I've seen cars working fine with stock 230-240bar opening pressure and some are running bad idle like i did with the same pressure. I think its more related that if the pump has pre-injection on it or not. To make sure it runs smooth i recommend higher pressure.

Anyone know if there are any uprated nozzles for an 8V 184hp TDI?

8v? Isnt there only cr 4pot lawnmover engines available? 240hp 2.0tdi nozzles are quite a lot bigger. You have stock nozzles maxed out already?

Not entirely sure what you're asking...

I used to have a MK4 VW Golf TDI (90hp), and had 110hp nozzles fitted with great results.

I now have a 8V 184hp TDI, wondering what else could be done (besides a remap) to improve power.

There is such a VAG automobile - current generation Audi A3 2.0 tdi 184 ps but I’m not privy to whether it is multivalve or 8V - seems all modern VAG 4 pot engine in general have gone to 16V and 20V, it’s very surprising to go back to 8V

The car isnt 8 valve, the model is. Its an A3 8V.. (similar to 8P)??

Sorry for any cross talk (over forums) but what can DSLA143P970 make on the AKE given sufficient air?

I'm semi temped to mount these on my spare AKE bodies and see how they go.

Norwescan - how did you find them?

I have a set of 6 DSLA143P970 Iveco nozzle tips. I don’t have a set of spare bodies and I’m planning to locate a set of bodies when I am back in UK / DE April 2018. My son drives the B6 everyday so planning downtime has been a challenge.

Does anyone here know of a set of bodies for the AKE?
