Next ASN meet @ Moffat in November

As the title says.....during todays meet we were discussing new locations and feel a dealership meet is out of the question due to their disorganisation so we thought of other outward locations........Powmill was great and will be used again so afew of us decided that Moffat could be a good venue with the large public carpark next to the open park at the bottom of the town. So please discuss.....possible dates could be 26th October or 2nd November but open to change as we always like to try and accomodate everyone. If anyone is from around that area please have a scout about and let us know about the parking situation

I'd definitely be up for this. I'd like to go somewhere that has a bit more scenery for pictures and stuff and have full commitment from the good folks of the forum so we can get the best turn out yet! The 5th of November is a Tuesday though mark. I assume you mean the 2nd which would be the following Saturday after the 26th. My preference would be the 2nd of November as the 26th will be the night we go out for my lady friends birthday this year! Although meeting on bonfire night (the 5th) would be pretty cool though if thats what u were planning mark haha! In which case I apologise for correcting you!
 
Ill defo be up for a meet try make it a Sunday or that seems to be alot of people work on a Saturday ( me ) haha
 
The November date would be good for me as I am working in Paris and Brussels from the 4th and will be in Portugal on the 26th of October.

The 2nd of November suits me best. Moffat sounds like a nice venue, could be -30 degree's though. :cold:
 
Don't think I'll be making the trip down for this one... I'll have to look at sorting a more Northern meet, maybe near Aviemore or something?

Jeez Martay, Aviemore! And I thought Moffat was going to be a cold place for a meet. On the other hand, if your having it around April onwards, I'd be up for the trip from Irvine and make a weekend of it.
 
OK guys.......gonna provisionally say 2nd November for the next meet @ Moffat. Car park at the bottom of the town. 12 o clock start. This gives folk time to pencil it in on their busy schedules. I will this week get a list up as I always do so if you wanna go then get your name up and I shall amend the list. Cheers
 
I would put some input into date/location but with my recent track record of not making it I'll just keep quiet and try to turn up whereever/whenever :lmfao:

Not gonna make it as I've been informed by the other half that she already has something planned for the saturday.
 
Daz........somehow this does not surprise me..............get her told that Audi meets take priority and that shopping can be done by herself.

Haha yes I know I am being rather unreliable :ermm:

Should be fixed soon when she gets her own car and won't need me to drive her everywhere haha

A meet thats finally in my back garden (not literally off course) (my gardens not that big)
but unfortunetly I'll be in Portugal,would have liked to have made this one but a week in the sun sounds a bit better.

Hopefuly we'll meet here again, save me driving a couple of hours this time. Lol.

Enjoy, its a wicked wee town with some amazing scenery, also the home off Moffat Toffee, if your into that (I hate it personally)

Ah pity this! Just up the road from my folks place! Unfortunately I'm still away with work. Moffats a nice wee place. Make sure you visit the sweetie shop and get some Moffat Toffee!
 
I will be attending and will remember to turn up on the right date but I will not be in the S3 something different tho:eyebrows:
 
It's only cause I would be heading down on my own, all my friends pretty much drive jap cars or other German cars so wouldn't be interested in an Audi meet lol. We go to big car meets/cruises all over the UK and always travel in a big convoy together

So will I be.....always do and usually meet up with someone and convoy over.

Murray you gonna pop in here before heading over.....that A701 over to Moffat is an amazing road. Will be when there's afew S3's tearing it up.......lol. We can head to Biggar and meet David with his TT.

I am heading up from glasgow with my mate who has just bought an a3 as will Turbonutz in his s3 if you want to convoy up

That'll be dandy Nick......will get back to you with times as need to speak to David. Probably be about 1030 ish I would of thought. Moffat is 39 miles from me so plenty time to get over there and get banners up.

I'm heading to this meet from Ayrshire, does anyone want to convoy from Abbington services around 11am? Or at a place before Abbington, suggestions? :racer:
