front passenger door removal

need a new front door for the car , looking at the fixings , do I need to remove the wing to get to the bolts or pleeeease tell me I can take out the two pins and remove the door , searched the web , every post comes up with panel removal , and ELSAWIN does not have a bit about door removal , or I cant see it for looking .

I have to do this as I have a new door to fit but didnt think I'd have to remove the wing when I can see the bolts I need to undo when I open the car door?

How come the wing has to come off then fella, without looking for a how to myself jsut thought Id ask the question?

tom , the top bolt looks ok , its the bottom one you cant get to with the door open , anyone else got ideas ??

my doors were removed for a wrap
the wings were not removed
ill ask the lad that did it

not looked at the audi specifically, but most cars need the wings to come off to make life easier. Especially when it comes to realigning them up.

any luck finding out how the doors came off yet , new door arrived today , ordered on monday arrives today

just to answer my own question the bolt come out from the door side of the hinge , so looks easy enough , just go to strip down the old door at the weekend , not looking forward to taking out the glass and sheet !!
