Brake Question - 55 plate, 3.2 V6, S-Line

Hello,

Does anybody know what the brake setup is on an Audi 3.2 V6 S-Line from the 2005 era? I.e. disc size, caliper type, piston number?

I have a Mk4 R32 and just drove my friends Audi (as above) at lunch and his brakes are WAY better than mine.

345mm fronts discs, same as R32 Mk5 golf + Audi S3.

310mm rear discs.

That explains it alright. Are they 2 pots?

They just felt soo much sharper than what I was used to. Maybe just the nature of the Mk4 R32 setup as my discs and pads still have good life left in them.

S3 has the 2.0t engine. R32 has 3.2 naturally aspirated.

Sorry I should clarify, does the S-Line 3.2 A3 from the 2005 ERA have the same engine as the Mk5 R32? Which is slightly more powerful than the stock Mk4 R32.

Yes, all the 3.2 A3's had the Mk5 R32 engine.
