Chrome handbrake button

Anyone know how to remove the chrome button from the hand brake?

That will stop the Chrome from stabbing me in the thumb but don't help with taking the hand brake off. lol

I can but I was hoping the button on the end could unscrewed or something.
Saves me from striping out the centre console to remove the whole hand brake.

i have the lever from my TQS, will have a look from the backside of it but suspect it will be pressed on

Plastidip it Scott! It's all about de-chroming these days, and that includes internal parts.
