The clip is awesome, another member filmed it and posted to me. I won't be going sideways in a hurry I tell you, not that art of the track anyways, it's not very forgiving, but I managed to catch it! Rhubarb was in the passenger seat when I did that, and he's coming in my car again for some more! lol

My dad taught me and my brothers to drive sideways in a 2ltr cortina on a old power station . Back when I was 14 and 24 years later I'm trying to teach myself in a s3 and I just can't do it unless I'm in my sprinter van in the snow . Awesome driving mate

Should be ok just got to take it easy , lifting and stretching are the problem , at 48 i should be playing golf not throwing myself down a rough mountain track from 3400m , but feck it being sensible is boring lol.

Alright mate, at the mo' it looks like I can only fill one session with 8 drivers, so I will call Autometrix up to see if I can get you guys the track sessions with entry passes, but to be used anytime throughout the day?

I will start emailing everyone on Monday once I've closed entries, then I will request payment via bank transfer of Paypal as 'gift' in the next week, once I have everyone's details ok.

There's been more interest in previous years, but modern day Audi owners use their Audi for driving to their local wine bars these days!

Just enjoy yourself Sam, don't get too hooked up on racing everyone! Lol

If you don't know the track, YouTube some vids, it'll come in handy! I'd take it easy first two laps to warm things up, and get to know the place, then a few hot laps until the end of session flag, and a cool down lap off boost with little braking to preserve your car. It's never let my car down doing it this way.

I've never bothered with track insurance, I believe in my own ability, and if someone is being stupid behind me, I will happily let them pass! Just take it easy and be sensible really, driving within your own limits, is my advice!
