Check your Owners Manual as I think that you will find that your headlights need to be switched on before the washers work. I seem to remember that they don't operate every time you do a screenwash, only the first wash after your lights are switched on. Hope this helps?

jumped in car turned on ignition, then headlamps, used the washer still no go,cant find a separate fuse,???????

well when you took the bumper off did you reconect the pipe ?
as part of the jet is missing it may have been disconected and pluged at some point.

Might sound silly but is your reservoir nearly empty. When mine gets low the head lamp wash stops working. However the normal windscreen wash will keep working for a few washes until I get the low warning light.

The headlamp wash works on water pressure. As above lights need to be on and if the headlamps have been washed recently by the jets they won't pop again for a while.

ummmm its very nearly empty....il fill it in morning and let you know, thanks for that hope it works, then il buy a new jet and sort it.

Well tbh if a jets of, then no point even asking for help until that's been fixed, if the previous owner knew jet was missing, then they may have disabled headlight washing with vcds, so replace jet, turn on headlight & test spray, if nothing then check vcds coding.

the system will not hold pressure with only 1 jet. replace the broken washer and go from there.

they can be replaced from removing the wheel and splash guard, I had to replace one recently and was able to do it this way.

thanks....easy job or easier if bumpers off?

If the systems down, then I would remove the bumper & fit new jet then make sure its all working fully before putting it back on, otherwise you could be ******* in the wind.

thanks
