any posts / how tos to replace the seals on rear calipers?

as post, just nacked the rear seals, or any good places to get calipers?

Never seen a how to, but they are easily done.

You have to screw the piston out & will usually find some corrosion in the back of the original seals.
A good clean out with a tooth brush & scriber if need be, followed by a blast through with contact / brake cleaner.
The pistons themselves should easily clean up with a wire brush etc.
You can get the seals through the Audi parts dept & re-assemble using silicone grease.

Then its the usual process of fitting & bleeding.
 
original PN is 8D0698671.. 38mm as i remember, but can check in a few hours as i have a spare kit around

38mm is the one you need for S3
payed much more for an OEM repair kit which is also TRW :)
 
So is the 41mm for the A3 (non S3)? I'm tempted to replace the seals as I just can't justify the cost of new calipers if a seal kit is a fiver...
