As far as I understood it,what you get is basically an 8000 rpm limit, and the biggest gains will be found on a turbo optimised for high rpm boost(i.e. large A/r turbine) and you'd be looking at an extra 10% or so at peak rpm.
So it's Stg4 with a higher rpm limit.
As to what I hope we can do with mine, the bigger turbo will be less stressed, and better able to produce flow at lower compressor speeds, but I need to get the head flowed soon,as I wouldn't want to push it much further on the stock head.
Also getting the APR runner flap delete kit fitted.
Sounds awesome â but going so far in to the red like that on the rev counter, Iâd want to be 100% sure that the engine and everything else wasnât being overworked; which is something Iâm sure youâre well on top of!
My 2+ also goes through the rev limiter, but I have to be honest and say that I try to not do so as I imagine it canât be too good for the standard engine and turbo.
That said, I suppose remapped cars wouldnât be able to go through the rev limiters like that if it were harmful to the engine in any wayâ¦
