hi please is there anyone who knows how many boost hoses a 1998 s3 has thanks

The main one's, if standard then 5, charge pipe elbow, charge pipe to drivers smic, drivers smic to joiner pipe, joiner pipe to passenger side smic, passenger smic to throttle body.

Thats just the main ones, theres plenty more little ones.

usually cars are registered v late, not earlier than their official launch.
That's why we see some 53 plate s3's, and poss even an 04

getting some samco boost hoses and they state its either 2 or 4?????

2 will be the top hoses and 4 will be the bottom intercooler ones.

Personally id used SFS not samco.

This is correct, if you have an 1998 S3, I'd like some proof please!

Explain yourself! I have Samco hoses, and they are great!

Ive just always found sfs to be of a very high quality, also I found the upper sfs boost hoses to be larger that samco and forge ones. Each to their own though mate.
