Audi Concert Replacement?

Hello All,

I've recently purchased an Audi A3 1.9TDI Sport 03 Plate.

Would anybody be able to advise a replacement headunit for an Audi Concert?

Need to have the following:-

1. All 4 Speakers to work in Car, same as current Concert Unit

2. Bluetooth

3. CD

4. Dab, Depending on cost!

5. Display needs to be red to blend in with interior lighting.

Also, could any body confirm where i can buy a used Aerial Base (Amplified).

Hi Taff.

I swapped per my Audi concert for a JVC KDR-821BT.

you can customize the colours to match the interior red glow.

bluetooth adaptor, ipod connector. Bought fascia plates and adaptors to connect to the audi system.

since we had a new kid the missus is in my a3 and can't handle the JVC - coming from her TT head unit.
if you fancied it, we could try a straight swap for your concert! She is insisting it's replaced! Is your concert the single din one?

Audi Concert Stereo (Cassette Type) with 6 Disc CD changer in Boot.

Sorry John,

thought it was a cd model. Asked the missus there and she would prefer being able to swap kids CDs etc on the hop without going into boot!

out of interest, is your A3 an 8L or 8P? I would have had to have checked if the radios were interchangeable.

If you look into that JVC model and like the look of it, we can work something out on the classifieds boards, I could throw in the fascia adaptor, aerial adaptor, connector for rear speakers etc.

wouldnt be too expensive, cost me £150 a year and a half ago (then around £25 for the extras above).

Let me know if you get sorted, if you fancy the above I'll stick up something on classifieds to keep it above board.

Hi All,

Can somebody help Me!

I've recently replaced my Audi Concert Stereo in My Audi A3 1.9TDI Sport (03 Plate) with a Sony MEX-BT2700.

Everything work fine except I've got a poor Radio signal for FM & AM nothing.

I can't understand this because previously with my Audi Concert everyhting was great, had a strong signal for both AM & FM.

Does anybody know how I can get a strong signal using my Sony MEX-BT2700?

Any advice or help will be very grateful.

the radio reception may be poor due to the aerial
some systems are amplified and some are not , if you have a local independant car audio store nearby then i would pop in and ask the question and let them have a look
