what oil should i use and how much/pollen filter question too

hi guys
probably been asked millions of times but been a newbie i'll ask again.

I have a 54 plate (pk54vhx) a3 1.9tdi sportback bkc engine what oil should I use pd? and how much for the service,also I found a old receipt for a pollen filter where does it go if mine is fitted with one.

Castrol edge 5w30 usually.

Pollen filter goes above passenger feet area hidden behind a foam cover & plastic trim that slides to the side then of.

4.8L at the top of my head

I have always used 5 40 Vw quantum oil on all pd Tdi engines ! Also its roughly 4.5 ltrs to the top of the dots on the dip stick if your sumps no been off and removed all the oil
