My brake pads and discs need replacing (front and rear) on my 09 Sportback. What should I go for please? Its a mixture of town and long distance and I don't need anything sporty. Thanks

Stay clear of pagid I have had 2 sets on the car since February and both have warped . getting genuine ones on tomorrow

Are you saying the pads had warped?

It would be the first time for that.

Rotors certainly can,but pads....

No the discs have warped to the point of its undriveable when braking above 70mph

Then that's not down to the pads.

Pagid make very decent OEM pads,as well as race capable pads, but rotor warping is a well known issue on S3s.

Thank you for all the replies. I have been quoted just shy of £400 for Bosch pads and discs all round, is that about right and are Bosch any good?

I can second that with Pagid, on 3rd set of discs in 8 months. Generally Pagid have a good name for themselves, but I em won't buy them again. Bosch are better and cheaper anyway.

Just get OEM one's mate. Can't go wrong

Do Pagid manufacture the 8P brake pads and discs like they did with the 8L?

Just so you all know I have had genuine Audi parts and they ARE made by Pagid THey have there name on them.
