San Andreas never appealed to me much, just seemed too big to travel around. I prefered Vice City, thats my favourite one.
 
I can't wait for GTA5. Shame it'll probably be another year before it comes out on PC though :(

Loved the online play of GTA4. Me and a few mates used to have such a laugh on there messing about. Used to annoy one of my mates so much by holding a grenade and getting into the helicopter he was just taking off in and blow it up haha. Much abuse over the headset.
 
GTA san Andreas city is my favorite city and I can’t wait to play it, I like the use of cheat code in this game like YECGAA, FLYINGTOSTUNT and many more, and what a video it awesome, really I am speechless after watch out.

It's just going to be just on one island in san andreas - Los santos and the surrounding countryside. But rockstar have still said this GTA is going to have a big map.
 
Nice thread revival, pre ordered from Amazon. Looks like Rockstar have taken the best parts of the previous GTAs and put it together with a massive spit and polish! Potentially game of the year, and that's against some really stiff competition
 
Worried if I get this I will slowly go into a gta5 coma. Not ever want to see the outside world :D
 
Still not preordered this, gta4 was a bit of a disappointment and I have been holding off ordering for xbox just in case they announce a pc version, at least that way the community can fix the annoyances then lol.

Have to admit, the hype is starting to get to me though. After pc gaming the poor frame rate is going to be tough to deal with though
 
Who did you order it with? I'm Amazon here, so hoping it'll at least come on the release day, but i'll be working anyway.

I can't wait though, I haven't bothered with a PS3 game since Bad Company 2!
 
I pre-ordered with GameStop, I'm so excited! Tonnes of Reddit threads about it nowadays.

BFBC2 was awesome. Good memories of when me and friends used to set 4 TV's and PS3's up in the living room, get drunk and have some right laughs. Never felt the same doing it with BF3..
If anyone's on PS3, I'll be playing GTA V online in a few weeks..

Don't be giving stuff away ha! Yeah I played bf3 a few times, but it was never as good as bfbc2 I agree. I loved that game, it was ace.

I'm also glad gta 5 was delayed, I had a thesis to write which I just finished last week, Yay. Had gta 5 been released earlier I might have never finished it.
 
Looking back, I'm glad it was delayed, means I've something to keep me occupied in the long cold winter months. I probably wouldn't of seen daylight had it released in spring.
 
That's also a fair point. Ps3 is definitely a winter sport. Summer is for bbq's and being outside. Luckily, rockstar were kind and let us have our summer still.

I'll add you sometime on psn, will be good to play with some fellow asn'ers.

Think it depends nmon delivery method. They often send the first class ones out early as they can't guarantee when they will arrive. For those who paid for guaranteed next day I'd be very surprised if it was early. I expect mine to ship Monday as I have amazon prime, so next day delivery. I've got a busy week at work though, so might not get much time on it, boo hoo. We shall see.

Release day is on the 17th but companies need go dispatch early so people receive it on release day :)
 
Anyone got their copy early?

Seen a few posts on other forums where folks have had theirs arrive today.

I gave in and ordered it for xbox!
 
Some people who bought it through Amazon got theirs today!
