Hello, im pretty new to this sort of thing i used to own a 300bhp starlet and now have a 04 diesel dsg a3 and i love it got a few extra leather bose all that, im having a few problems with it tho nothing major just after abit of advice, first one is my time clock and mpg resets every few days no idea why :S ? another problem is the car starts on the click of a button when its cold but when its hot it takes its time to start, the battery is fine anyideas?

Hot start problem is common, new starter needed.

I had the car plugged in ny a mate and it comes up cylinder 1 and 4 glow plug electrical fault anyideas? i might throw some glow plugs in

Welcome to the ASN mate.

There are two trip computers, number 1 resets an hour or so after switch off, number 2 only resets when you manually reset it, they're cycled using the button under the wiper stalk. Look for the little symbol in the corner of the DIS to distinguish between the two & it's always best to Read The Manual for details.

more problems with this car i had the flywheel changed because when i accelerate there was a knocking noise, so changed the flywheel and the exact same noise is there? more happens on the motorway any ideas? goes into gear fine and everything, and the second u let go of the throttle there no noise
