** A3 2.0 2006 TDI S-Line FOG LIGHT HELP **

Hello, basically I've been trying to sort this problem out for months now and still haven't resolved it. I bought a 2006 A3 2.0 TDI S-Line that had all S3 cosmetics added (front bumper, rear bumper, skirts, spoiler etc etc) but it came without fog lights fitted, but I know the car originally had fog lights as the wiring is present behind the bumper (see photo below) and when I start the car I get 2 errors messages on the dash (front left fog light & front right fog light).

So I bought a pair of H11 fog light units from eBay and fitted these to the front bumper, I was unsure what bulbs I needed so I ordered both H11 & H7 bulbs but neither of these fit the wiring thats present with the car. So what I want to know is, have I ordered the wrong bulbs? or am I missing some sort of wiring harness?

You sure you car is a S-line?
That plug looks like an Standard fog light connection.
S-line and S3 have a different type?

to convert a standard fog light to H11 you need :
H11 bulb connector plug socket fog lamp head light new loom 711 audi vw bmw ford | eBay

You cut the old plug off and attach this.
Then your H11 fog lamps will fit.

As per my previous input, your foglights should be fully rounded, slightly oval looking, S3 foglights are H11, Sline are also H11 unless its an earlier which were H7, one or the other should plug in, if you cant figure it out then pay someone to fix it for you.

I've ordered 2 of them connectors so will give them a try and report back! Thanks for your help.

Also NHN Ive got both H11 and H7 bulbs and neither plug in, the pin/prongs are completely the wrong size or orientation of the prong is incorrect. Hopefully the connector Ive ordered (see above) Will sort it out. Thanks for your help.

All fixed and working thanks to some H11 connector blocks, fog lights work perfectly now and no error message on the dash! Thanks J8TT X
