Booked the car in for its first mot today and was told it needs a brake fluid change which was fine.
Since getting the car iv noticed the brakes aren't as fierce as I'd have expected being discs all round.
After picking up the car the brakes have improved 100% biting a lot quicker and stopping a lot quicker.very easy to press too hard and u know about it.
Anyways just wanted to let folk know (probably seems obvious to some) but if the brakes don't feel right, it might be the fluid or air.
And the cost was 49 quid from Audi which wasn't too shabby :)

I didnt have time to do this today just managed the front discs and pads before the heavens opened up. £103 for the pagid setup from ECS will do the fluid in a few weeks.

Had my brakes stripped and cleaned yesterday and new fluid and feels so much better,

103 quid is a steal :)
Certainly will make a difference with new brake fluid as well ;)

Aye BullyS3 I was impressed myself, couldn't believe I'd been driving with the brakes like that since feb lol :)

Well I got my car a little check over last week as my right rear brake light keeps going and there was more than 4% water in the fluid so needed changing, so got it done yesterday and an mot

Nice one. I hope ur car sailed through the mot?
Mine didn't need anything.
Got to love the German build quality :)

Yea straight through it, that's it for another year but service in 700 miles which is just oil and filters

Nice one :)
U getting that done at Audi or Indy?
Seen the fixed price servicing at Audi today at £179.
Don't think that includes air or diesel filter tho.
Mine is due in 6000 ish miles I think :)

A lad I know has a German specialist garage so he does it, doing service for £70, very good he is too!! He has a rs4, vw polo mk1 supercharged engine. He knows his stuff
