S3 wings dif to a3?

As title really? Are s3 wings any wider than standard a3 wings? Will they fit with standard bumper?

yes they are the s3 wings are a lot wider.

The S3 bumper will fit on standard A3 wings though IIRC, but not the other way around

Funny enough I've been asking around about this for ages... I was told the S3 bumpers will fit but not snug
Because the arches are bigger than the normal a3

Is this true?

Not tried the front but I no the back is not a perfect fit. Doesn't sit flush with the arch even with the s3 guide rails they don't fit.it's not miles of I'd say half inch. Also u need to reroute you're exhaust as the s3 sits more over to the right.

We had this topic yesterday at ace cafe if you look at my pic thread on here you will see my car and n88ggy s3 next to each other and I was telling him last night his arches where wider then mine and after a few of us looked at our cars I was right there is a big difference!!

I'm seeing so much ambiguous information regarding whether A3 and S3 wings on the 8p3 are actually different. Some say they are different and others say they are exactly the same. Can anyone shed light on this?
