All off playing with your new toys? I am lonely and jealous but looking forward to initial reports. What's good? What's bad? Is it all you expected, or even better? Anything surprise you that you weren't expecting?

Yeah I'm here after 8 hours of ownership, A different feel to the A4 for me but I'll get used to it, nice drive, quite taught, no real issues with it at the mo, but I DO NOT like the fuel gauge at all, there is no needle just LED lights that are supposed to go out the lower the fuel gets, however I've only got 350 odd miles left in the tank but all the led lights are on ???? Its difficult to explain until you guys/gals get your own car but you'll see what I mean. Apart from that I'm loving it.

I know exactly where you are coming from snakehips

Having only ordered my car last week I would love to know what others think.

Interesting comment ChriSTI on the fuel indicator. I have wondered that, but if that the only niggle I really wont mind.

Just got back from a 6 hour drive... Shame it was still in the Civic. 29th October is my supposed delivery date. Saw a Daytona grey S-Line going the other way, fantastic lines

dont worry about the mileage left, as you drive it adjusts to your driving style and with each tankful it will creep up. If you make a note of the odo you will get more than that as long as you don't drive like seb vettel.

Cheers Danny, I would have still liked a needle to watch lol, there's enough going on with the displays to be worrying about the fuel gauge, the manual book is going to take some reading lol:-(

Just filled up my A3 with petrol, a full take will cost you about £64. Thats at £1.36 per litre.

I had about 30 miles left on the tank btw.

Little quiet in here this morning. I think you guys must all be off to work nice and early to get the best parking spot in the works carpark to show off those lovely cars. Have a great day everyone. :) x

We all have allocated parking, and mine is right out of the big windows here, so no chance of people not seeing it :D

Went for a 15 min/10 mile detour on the way in this morning so car not in best spot, will make up for it tomorrow!!!

How is everyone enjoying there new cars? Very jealous here!

How's the car doing now? Have you got to grips with it?

Everyone else having fun??

My car has picked up the annoying actuator rattle - which Audi (Huddersfield) are waiting for a part to fix it (end of September I been told).

Apart from that the car and me seem to be getting on well - electronic handbrake was a lot quicker to learn than what I initially thought. Engine feels punchy and smooth, getting some good MPG figures already and I've only managed ~160 miles so far.

I just need to remember I am not driving a car with 2k's worth of handling mods, even though I have been pleasantly surprised how well the car holds the corners after turning in on the quick side.

Thinking of taking it for a good spin around North Wales over the weekend.

Which petrol engine do you have ?

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around...yes very much been enjoying my over a week old car! Fantastic engine the 1.4 TFSI. I previously had a 1.8 and I prefer the 1.4. I know I need to update my tagline.

No issues at all but so pleased I went for the S-Line. It really does make all the difference against the sport model. I have the sport suspension (not s-line) and I also find that very comfortable and the car does not look like a tractor either perfect!

I have been averaging 47mpg but like others, I have only completed 500 miles so I have not been able to put my foot down yet. Manual says you need to run the car in for 1500kms so a little way to go yet.

I have got to say, Daytona Grey really is stunning in any light but particularly in the sun...wow...those flakes pop!

S-Line wheels are a pain to clean but I have just put Alloy Wheel Protection on so with any luck, that grime should just spray off.

If anyone wants to know anything...let me know

You guys still grinning? Enjoying the new cars? :) x

1st day I dont like the handbrake ....sorry button, the dial thing is a total pita. bluetooth wont pair up to the htc after initially doing it. sat nav no likey air vents no likey. hopefully the 2nd day will be better.

edit fuel guage i neraly missed it looks like ali-trim on the side of the bezels - no likey!

You get used to all these things though. I think the air vents are great, especially that they have the option of a direct flow vs diffuse flow.

Still enjoying my car, even after having to test the spare wheel at the weekend! All better now though

Loving the car, only done a little over 300 miles so its not run in yet. Still makes me smile when I do drive it. Typical though as the rain ain't stopped much since my pick up really on the 1st :( had it in the garage since and only been out once in the rain. Is that sad or what......?
