Afternoon all.

Another rubbish day here. Should hopefully get away before 7pm tonight though, for a change. Off for Chinese with the trainees from work tonight - all you can eat. MSG hangover tomorrow morning if I don't drink about 3 pints of water before I go to bed tonight!

My car tax (just checked) will be £280. Ouch. Best save some money this month then as that's coming out of next months pay... :(

Keep meaning to go to Prept - didn't even manage to make it when I had a VW! Lol. Maybe next month, if I remember early enough...

Well it was my first time there and tbh i wasn't overly impressed with the whole of it....just like a cruise but with a bit of organisation and a £2 payment!

Doubt I'll be going again- definitely not this year though as it gets dark around 8:30pm and the event doesn't even start till 7! lol

Not at Prept as it's in the parking area for Brands Hatch - so you have to go through the main gate and it's sort of marshaled once you're in.

It was bike night just down the road though so there was heavy police presence around the area but that still didn't stop a few wheelies being pulled :)

Yeah if a track session was on it would have been a bit more interesting.... was oozzing with 'sceneness' did see a VERY interesting VDUB....I'll post a couple of pics as it is a serious hybrid'ed VAG

Apparently its not normally that busy and its usually more VW / Audi orientated than it ended up last night - couple of friends went along and said it was full of chavs and non-VAG cars last night, which sounds like a shame.

Looking at houses, trying to get my clocks working correctly, playing about with other clocks (your screen is on order) and fixing stuff.
I really need a workshop, the front room is not looking good at the moment. lol

Morning all, only a few days left of holiday. It's been a nice relaxing week. Been out on the speedboat too, which is always fun. My arms ache from the rubber ring though. :)

Scott, has the DIS screen arrived yet, or is jays the one that you were on about on WhatsApp? I want to get one ordered for mine.

Also, the left indicator bulb within the clocks doesn't work. What type of bulb are they scott? Indicators work fine but just the bulb in the clocks. Need to fix it when I've got them in bits to sort the DIS screen.

Its LEDs for them mate.

They was a set of B5 clocks I fixed.
I should have a set of TQS clocks on the way next week if they are confirmed working and price agreed. :)

You can't beat a good boat.
I went out in a pacific 24 last week. I think we topped out at 50mph on the water. :)
 
Ah nice. We haven't gone too fast this year, kids on board and then also pulling people on the ring so can't go as fast. It's great fun though, they're just so expensive. One of the boats here costs £1000 a day in fuel if it gets heavy use!

And cheers about the indicators, got a link to which ones it is? Will just be easier if I already have the parts available before I remove the clocks rather than taking them out, checking the part and then having to put them back in while I wait for it to arrive.

Just the indicator one, so guessing a single white led? I'm guessing that the indicator lens is green with a white led?

Maybe get me 2 as I'll probably melt one. :D

I think there is two on the board. I'll strip a clock down this weekend and take a look for you.

One of the indicators works fine so I was thinking it would be 1, but I've never seen inside b5 clocks so wouldn't know. Just let me know. I'll PayPal some money across for you, and pm you my address. Actually, I know you won't need it....

I got scored 38 out of 40 from the instructor who said it was "a very good drive". God knows what the points mean but it wasn't exactly difficult to weave in and out of a few cones if you've done around 50 laps of the nordschleife ;)
 
I think I got 39 / 40. But no idea how they mark it. Did you buy a recording of your laps??
