release bearing from audi. or maybe garage can source it for you.I've just gone for the Loba/Sachs SMF set up, but noticed it comes with no release bearing, where can i get one?
Will i need my map tweaked to run more torque or will the car automatically run more torque with the new clutch set up?
Thanks again.
James
Chaps, is there a difference between the Revo Stage 2 & 2+ software or is it dependant on boost, timing and fueling settings?
Cheers, looks like Stage 2 went on the last time i was in for a tune but 2+ is going on tomorrow with the new clutch.:icon_thumright:
Yeah i've already got the HPFP fitted but i was told that they only put the stage 2 software on last time it was in for a map (when i also had ITG, Milltek and HPFP fitted at the same time)As I said, you need the uprated HPFP for Stg2+,and it does make a difference, although it's the beginning of the slippery slope to really expensive mods.
The car will take a few days worth of driving to adapt fully, but the increase in midrange torque is noticeable right away.
nobody mentioned that lower engine mounts would need changing to something stiffer:].
I noticed the flutter sound when I replaced my old DV with a Rev D, absolutely nothing to be concerned about
I have compressor stall or fluttering but only between 3 & 4000 rpm. Also had it on my previous 8L S3 once I added an aftermarket intake. Compressor stall isn't a great thing for a turbo at all.
Yeah it's pretty rapid now. Just need to think about brakes and suspension now.
