Lookin at remaps for the 2.0tfsi, and the nearest garage that offer remaps does viezu remaps.

just wondering has anyone tried their software any reviews?

Or is it best to stick to revo/apr/shark?

price looks decent at £300 compared to revos £600

Not sure where you are but check out R-Tech, they are in Leicester or Badger 5 in Gloucester.

hi mate I'm near slough, Leicester would be like 2 hours away :/ cheers for the help though

Be worth the drive he's getting good figures ;)

Before i got mine done with Revo i took it to a Viezu dealer but unfortunately they couldn't do it due to the locked Ecu.
Glad that happened anyway because the Revo power output is far better than the Viezu output for my car.

My car was used for the map template. Which was done back in 2012 I'm very happy with results transformed the car and no problems 18 months on

do it, trust me, r tech will be worth it

I was hoping no one would ever mention these maps!!!!(Viezu)

I had stage 1 Viezu with my previous 09 S3. I cannot explain how bad the power delivery was.

I even sold the car thinking it was the car at fault, I took the map off just before it went, and it was amazing again!

Their maps are highly detrimental to your cars health.

All the power is at once, massive clutch killer. Absolutely rinsed mine.

The revs do not rise and fall fast enough between each gear change, you WILL lurch forward constantly.

I gave them a chance to adjust, still rubbish, they are extremely poor at what they do.

The tuner that I originally went to had the exact same problem with his very own VRS diesel.

Bunch of amateurs!!

Honestly, someone like Shark performance will come to your door and they are proven quality maps.

You get what you pay for, don't skimp!

hi thanks for taking time out to post this review, hopefully saved me from making a massive mistake lol.
sad times, was hoping to get it remapped before I go back to uni :/, but guess ill just wait till I can pay the premium for a decent tune!

Mate do what I did. Get a Shark remap and an STS box, they send you the box, you copy the map and email it to them and they send you back a performance map to then upload yourself. Simple and effective! I'm getting mine tweaked a little but the base concept and product are superb. And it can be done in 3-4 working days!

Drop N8 or Brodster a line on here and they'll hook you up...

cheers but only problem is id have to go across the country to get it done as ..

"The Bosch MED17 ECU used in the later 2.0TFSI engined cars require removal to be reflashed after Model Year 2010 (usually "59" registration).

This service is available at Mansfield HQ and selected dealers. Please check with your local dealer."

MED17 absolutely no problem here, £350 all in - dyno tested, road tested, track tested map that will be adjusted to your car as required. We are in Manchester though :)

Mine is 2012 and worked fine via OBD2 mate. So no removal needed.

I've never come across a 2.0TFSi thats had a locked ECU certainly not in an A4 or A3 anyway. I read someone stating that S3's after 09 plate were locked too and needed removed......wrong.......all S3's are remappable throught the OBD II port. Mine is a 12 plate and has been done.

With personal experience of Rick@Unicorn's maps they are well worth the journey. Top bloke and top maps
